THE MANDALORIAN: Ahsoka Tano Gets Another Character Poster Showing Off Her Dual Lightsabers

We have another character poster for Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano, this time offering a closer look at the white lightsabers she wields. Oh, and we also have a poster for the newly named Grogu...

It's been a few days since the latest episode of The Mandalorian hit Disney+, but everyone is still talking about the debut of Ahsoka Tano. Played by Rosario Dawson, the fan-favourite Jedi made a huge impact while making the leap from The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels to live-action.

Yesterday, we got an official character poster, concept art, and even some stills, but that's now been followed by another poster featuring Dawson's take on Anakin Skywalker's former apprentice.

That's not all, though, as Trends International has also given Grogu his own poster!

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Dawson revealed why the prospect of playing Ahsoka excited her. "I found it so fascinating that there was this whole other world that existed in the animated series, and this young girl was the heart of that space," she explains.

"I'd seen some of Clone Wars, and once I got the role, I actually went and started watching everything in its order. I started seeing a lot more of the connective tissue. There was always that conversation around Ahsoka leaving the Order, and that being a major trigger for Anakin going towards the Dark Side. It was just really incredible that the character started off as a teenager."

I was used to the more thin ones from Rebels, but those white lightsabers still looked so damn good in live-action.

Although I don't expect Gideon and Ahsoka to clash this season, I do wanna see the darksaber and the whitesabers used against each other ASAP.

@bkmeijer - never watched any of the shows and I have two quick questions. Do they explain why her sabres are white? And does she light them into each other sometimes? Happened in the show and I was confused

@Twenty23Three - I think here sabers are white because she took the crystals from an Inquisitor and purified them, turning from red into white.

I don't know if it's explicitely said in the show, but I wouldn't be surprised if Filoni picked white because Ahsoka isn't a Jedi anymore.

As per your other question

@bkmeijer - thanks for the info. I should maybe watch some of the animated shows but the more Star Wars media I consume the more it puts me off the franchise as a whole and ruins my childish nostalgia 😂

Now we need a jedi with 3 lightsabers. Think one piece.

Although I've been exposed with Star Wars when I was kid and loves a lot of science fiction, the franchise never clicked with me until now with the Mandalorian. Favreau and Filoni have been doing a great job introducing new fans to the Star Wars universe.

Glad they released more posters. At first I thought they weren't exactly official but I am starting to believe they are.
