Blumhouse's Fantasy Island is now playing in theaters and arrives in the UK on March 6th, and when we recently had the opportunity to talk to star Lucy Hale about the movie, we made sure to ask the actress about her new TV show Katy Keene

Set in the same world as Riverdale and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, the series is based on the Archie Comics character of the same name, and chronicles the origins and struggles of four aspiring artists trying to attain successful careers on Broadway, on the runway, and in the recording studios.

We spoke to Hale the day after Katy Keene's premiere, and she had this to say about what it had been like seeing the response to that:

"Oh God, it's been so great. It's been a wild couple of days because yesterday was actually my last day of filming for season one, and also premiere day. It's been great because we've been filming for a while, so we've just been so eager and anxious for everyone to see it. The support has been amazing, and I think that there's a lot of stuff happening in the world right now, and this show is like a bright light that leaves you feeling inspired and a show about dreamers. I'm really proud of it, and proud of everyone involved."

With all these shows set in the same world, we went on to ask the actress whether she thinks it's possible that crossovers with Riverdale and Sabrina the Teenage Witch could take place somewhere down the line. "I think so," she teased. "The Archie Universe loves a crossover! There's some Riverdale surprises for sure on our show."

Ratings have been consistently good for Katy Keene, so the future definitely looks bright for the series moving forward. Keep checking back here for much more from Hale ahead of Blumhouse's Fantasy Island's release. For now, you can check out a trailer for the film below!
