V FOR VENDETTA TV Series Rumored To Be In The Works At British Television Network Channel 4

Another of Alan Moore's most celebrated works could be joining HBO's upcoming Watchmen adaptation on the small screen.

According to Bleeding Cool's sources, Channel 4 is developing a TV series based on Moore and David Lloyd's V For Vendetta, which revolves around a masked man determined to bring down a tyrannical government.

The material was previously adapted as a feature starring Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving, and although it was generally well received, many fans of the far more complex comic series felt it missed the mark.

Take this with the usual pinch of salt until we find out more, but do let us know how you'd feel about a potential V for Vendetta TV show in the comments section.

I'd like to see something like this. I'm not fond of the glorification of violent solutions, but heck, Superman punches villains with hits that could easily kill them and I'm a Star Wars fan as well.

Channel 4 also created the television series Utopia which is one of the best shows I have ever seen, up there with Breaking Bad and Game and Thrones.

Check it out

Channel 4 interfere way too much for their own good. Quite a few horror stories about Electric Dreams out there. This will probably end up being less like the original comic than the movie was, but it'll still be something noteworthy, so I don't care. I imagine it'll be co-produced with Amazon or someone.
