VIDEO GAMES: THE TERMINATOR, JOKER And SPAWN Announced As Upcoming MORTAL KOMBAT 11 DLC Characters

Mortal Kombat 11's full Kombat Pack roster has been revealed with NetherRealm confirming the additions of some prominent comic book characters and big-screen stars in the Terminator, Joker, and Spawn.

Earthrealm just got a whole lot more dangerous as Mortal Kombat 11 developer NetherRealm announced the remaining four fighters  arriving in the Kombat Pack. Joining Shang Tsung and Nightwolf as DLC characters in the fighting game are the Terminator, Joker, Spawn, and Sindel.

Sindel, of course, is an original Mortal Kombat character, appearing in 1995's MK3. The three remaining additions, however, are making cameo appearances and look to wreak havoc in their own way. They also each happen to have a movie either coming soon or in production.

The Terminator, whose likeness is borrowed from Arnold Schwarzenegger, will appear as the older version we're about to see on the big screen when Terminator: Dark Fate hits theaters in November. He will arrive next in Mortal Kombat 11 on October 8.

He'll be followed by the supersonic screaming Sindel on Novmeber 26, and then the Joker on January 28. Like the Terminator, there's also the Joker movie coming out soon. It looks like the Mortal Kombat 11 version will be different from the one played by Joaquin Phoenix on the big screen. He'll also be modeled differently from the previous incarnation NetherRealm had created for the DC fighting game Injustice.

The final Kombat Pack character, coming on March 17, will be Spawn. Spawn was actually previously confirmed as a DLC character for Mortal Kombat 11, with Keith David, the original voice actor from Todd McFarlane's Spawn animated series, returning to voice him in the game. The popular comic book character also has a reboot movie in the works with Blumhouse Productions, but it seems to be stuck in limbo due to a financing holdup relating to the script. So while it may be a while before fans get to see the Hellspawn return to theaters, they'll at least get to play as him in Mortal Kombat 11 next year.

Mortal Kombat 11 is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The optional Kombat Pack includes the two previously released fighters plus these four upcoming ones as well as exclusive Character Skins and gear.

Shit roster tbh. Was hoping for more classic MK characters instead of some borrowed ones.

Joker looks weird as hell too.

T-800? Joker? No thanks. Not for MK. Seems like a shit DLC pack for a pretty good game.

The joker looks like one of those wannabes from Batman beyond.

One of the weirdest looking Joker's I've ever seen.

@Nightwing1015 -
Netherrealm Studios can't seem to get the Joker right, for some reason...

I really hope that Richard Epcar isn't voicing the Joker in MK11. Bloody-Disgusting is reporting that Troy Baker is doing the voice. If they get Baker (or anyone else) to do the voice, I'll forgive the design.

Epcar is an awesome Raiden, but not a very good Joker at all.

Five of those character designs look awesome, and then there's Joker - who looks like a first-time cosplayer. A Jokin Phoenix skin would have been better

Can you please stop casting Richard Epcar? He's such a weak Joker, and Netherrealm Studios obviously has access to Troy Baker and Steve Blum.

Netherrealm Studios keeps trying too hard when it comes to the Joker. Epcar was legitimately worse than Jared Leto in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. He improved in Injustice, but still isn't very good. Injustice 2 Joker was pretty lame as well.

This is weirdly the best Joker they have done since MKvsDC! It's extremely weird that they gave him Ledger's extreme eye liner and lipstick smile. Sad that they're sticking with the voice actor, specially since they now insist on making a young looking Joker so the voice no longer fits.

Still haven't played this game because it doesn't have Reptile. Spawn is tempting though.

Also, Joker looks like he put on a few pounds.

aside from T7 and smash ultimate's ... MK is killing it in the FGC

So, are there going to be more packs, or is this it? Because Injustice 2 had like 3 packs with 9 DLC characters in total. Just trying to hold out hope for Reptile lol.

Needs more actual mortal Kombat characters and less guests.

This DLC schedule is downright depressing. Spawn in March of next year? Who the hell is still going to be playing the game other than hardcore fans? Last time I pre-order for DLC. Even Injustice 2 slow-leaked the DLC.
Btw, Joker is a shit character for MK. Should have been Ash Williams.

@dezdigi -
When the Komplete Edition comes out 2031, more people will be drawn to the game. A lot of us are just waiting on that as it is.

It looks like the Mortal Kombat 11 version will be different from the one played by Joaquin Phoenix

Couldn't tell.

I love that both Smash Bros and MK11 now have a Joker DLC character.

Can't wait to see Spawn, Joker and Terminators fatalities.

That's just Conan O'Brien with Joker makeup.
