It would be an understatement to say that the live action Tekken movie blowed. So since reboots are happening all over Hollywood why not reboot Tekken?. So here we go...
The Mishima Family
Jin Kazama-Oguri Shun
Why: Oguri Shun has been in the business ever since he was a kid. He's done his fair share of action films to, so I think it's time for him to break out onto the international scene. All he would need to do is bulk up a bit.
Kazuya Mishima-Hiroyuki Sanada
Why: Hiroyuki has the same air of seriousness that Kazuya has, plus if the Last Samurai is any indicator he has that arrogant badass attitude down pat.
Heihachi Mishima-Sonny Chiba
Why: The Street Fighter has left this image in my mind that Sonny Chiba is an ass kicking machine. It also helps that he is profficient in six forms of Japanese martial arts.
Lars Alexanderson-Shirota Yuu
Why: It was hard to find a Japanese actor of mixed Japanese and Caucasian descent, then I stumbled upon Yuu Shirota. He may be a bit young but it may work.
Lee Chaolan-Donnie Yen
Why: Donnie Yen has not aged since he debuted on the movie scene, but it helps that he is almost the same age as Sanada.
The Kazama Family
Jun-Miho Nakayama
Why: She is gorgeous, the right age, and a wonderful actress.
Asuka-Rin Takanashi
Why: I enjoy her work in dramas, I haven't seen her on the big screen but maybe this can be her breakout film.
Everyone else:
Hwoarang-Lee Joon
Why: He's Rain's mini me from Ninja Assassin, he just needs to be coached on Tae Kwan do.
Marshall Law-Danny Chan
Why: The man played Bruce Lee, he is a spitting image of Lee, and is experienced in Jeet Kune Do...what more can you ask for?
Yoshimitsu-Yosuke Eguchi
Why: He's already played a ninja robin hood in Goemon, I reckon he can do it again in space samurai armor.
Nina Williams-Scarlett Johanson
Why: I wanted to find an actress that was pretty but not trashy, elegant if you will. Scarlett is the whole package, gorgeous and a great actress.
Lili Rochefort-Imogen Poots
Why: I know I'm not the only person here who enjoyed Jane Eyre, and Imogen was great in the film. She also has the right look for Lili
Lei Wulong-Jackie Chan
Why: Wulong was based off Chan, need I say more?
Feng Wei-Jet Li
Why: Other then the resemblance? Li is a phenomenal martial artist and actor.
Steve Fox-Ryan Gosling
Why: Good actor despite his history with the Micky Mouse club and I'd like to see him in an action role.
Craig Marduk-Nathan Jones
Why: The resemblance is uncanny, I would of also gone for Randy Couture.
Eddy Gordo-Lateef Crowder
Why: Do I really need to explain this one?
Ling Xiaoyu-Liu Yifei
Why:She's a fast up and comer on the Chinese movie scene and I've enjoyed the films she's done so far. I look forward to her future works (wow that was formal...lol)
King-Dave Batista
Why: Their physiques are almost the same, and though I'm not sure about Batista's acting skills he won't actually have to talk/act in the film...just growl.
Characters like Ogre,Mokujin,Kuma,Roger,the Jacks etc should handled with motion capturing or cgi. Other characters would be introduced in sequals
