UNCHARTED Star Tom Holland Shows Off His Shredded Nathan Drake Physique As Filming Appears Imminent

Production on Sony's highly anticipated video game adaptation Uncharted was unceremoniously shut down in March as the world grappled with the Covid-19 crisis. With restrictions being eased in several places, it seems like Uncharted might be one of  the first big productions out of the gate and resume production shortly.

Lead star Tom Holland shared a look at his new dirty blond "floppy" hairdo a few days ago via Instagram. This was preceded by a video of him taking a gag-inducing Covid-19 test with someone speaking  in German off camera. And now we have a third post, this time from what appears to be a makeshift gym with the Spider-Man: Far From Home star offering a peek at his ripped six-pack abs in a post titled, 'When working with Mark Wahlberg you gotta get after it.' Clearly, he's been making good use of the downtime to train in the gym and co-star Wahlberg, who will be playing a mentor to him on-screen, seems to be having a positive effect off-screen too.

Sony seems pretty bullish on this new film which is said to be an origin story functioning as a prequel to the video games. They have two bonafide A list stars in Holland and Wahlberg and an experienced director in Ruben Fleischer. The film is currently set to be released in the United States on July 16, 2021.

Let us know what you think of Holland's transformation into the iconic character.

Even if this is a "prequel" as they say, how young can they say Holland is as Drake? Seriously - 15-16 minimum. A recast with an older guy in the sequel would be weird unless they push Drake's age closer to Uncharted 4. But even then, if this movie is by some miracle a success, they're probably just gonna stick with Holland/young Drake...

Also, if Sam isn't in this or mentioned at all, they might as well be doing their own thing entirely.

Cant believe they had great director after great director and they ended up with the worst one ever involved with the project at the end

Nice physique, but it looks exactly the same as the body he had in Spider-Man.
