Former CAPTAIN MARVEL Actress Dewanda Wise Wants To Play Storm
Dewanda Wise who recently departed Captain Marvel has put her name into the mix to play another Marvel character in the MCU's X-Men.

Captain Marvel alongside Brie Larson sadly had to depart due to scheduling conflicts with her Netflix show She's Got To Have It which recently got renewed and is expected to start shooting soon is still showing interest in being a part of the MCU. Wise in a recent Instagram post responded to direct messages from the fans that have been putting her name into the running of playing the popular X-Men character Storm.
Even though we're still a bit away from seeing the X-Men and Fantastic Four come home to Marvel studios with the deal going to reportedly take 12 months to go through and Marvel President Kevin Feige saying it is too early to talk about adding them yet, it is still cool to see actors and actresses putting their names into the works for playing these characters when the time comes. Starring in Captain Marvel would have been Dewanda Wise's biggest role to date if she could have stuck around but this could be another chance to join the MCU when the weather manipulator eventually shows up with the rest of the X-Men, plus working with Marvel for a little bit already may put her in with a bigger chance of getting the role.
