im from louisiana(i know the asshole of america) so i know a cajun accent or two and i think he does a good job. His isnt very heavy but i think it works better than a heavy accent would. Way better than nic cage's southern accent in con air, wtf cage

DAYUMMM!!!! They brought in the Sentinels!!! This game is gonna be Bad-@ss. I think that Gambit's accent is spot-on. I mean, i have nothing to compare it to, cause he didnt even talk in the trailers...
I cant wait to play this game. Its gonna be amazing.

I've ranted about this on another post about a month ago but w/e. Gambit's accent in this movie nor in the 90s cartoon is far from a TRUE CAJUN accent. When people say "I think that Gambit's accent is spot-on" I believe they are comparing him to this guy.

There are many different dialects in Lousiana so its easy to be mistaken. Mainly people north of I10 aren't considered cajun and to me IMHO sound more 'country'.

The game looks really good right up to the point Wolverine rides Blobs back. That scene looks sooo PS2! And that's being kind! Other than that, awesome!

@Grizzly Ok cool worked with some guys around there. I'm from Terrebonne, deep south.

I'm pretty reluctant to try this game. The last wolverine game I played was utter diahria. I want to say it was for gamecube and Mark Hamil did the voice of wolvie.

sorry for posting right after i just posted but what the hell this game is going to be awesome and to be honest killian people don't compare the cajun accent to adam sandlers character in water boy they try to compare it to the farmer looking dude who is the defensive coach on the team he is also in joe dirt for some uncanny reason. but once again this movie and this game are going to rock once again another game that i am going to have to add to my waiting list just like arkham asylum!!!! oh btw mark hamill awesome joker voiceover however his wolvierine voice over in the wolverine game yeah that blew badly he needs to stick with joker and luke skywalker

I'm also from Louisiana (New Orleans), and I have no problem with Gambit's accent, from what I've heard of him. Kitsch does a better job than most actors I've heard trying to play Cajuns at capturing the distinctive Cajun accent. Most people try to play Cajuns or other Louisianans as having the classic Southern drawl, which is wrong. There's nothing wrong with a good Southern drawl, but it's not how people here talk. I'll probably have to hear more of him to be sure of how well Kitsch has the accent nailed

Good to see so many other Louisianans on this board. :o)
