Thanks to X-Men Films for this scoop, alerting the world to Kym Barrett’s decision to hop on board Wolverine. Born in Brisbane, Australia, Barrett is definitely not a stranger to the world of nerd-centric movies.

Barrett is currently working with the Wachowski brothers on the adaption of the 60’s cartoon classic Speed Racer, and has enjoyed a long relationship with the brothers, being involved in all three incarnations of the Matrix trilogy. Other credits to her name include her first movie out of the blocks Romeo and Juliet, and more recently Gothika and Eragon.

X-Men Films has also been told that Wolverine is looking to film additional scenes in Queenstown, New Zealand during the period of November and December this year.
