The first trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse should be with us very soon, but in the meantime take a look at this banner which was spotted at a Brazilian comic convention. A cropped version of this image of Ben Hardy as Angel/Archangel was featured in an issue of Empire Magazine a good while ago, but this time we get to see the character's full wingspan. Hopefully an official version will find its way onliine soon and we'll update. What do you think?

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel's X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from total destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters May 27, 2016.

You know I'm hyped to see Deadpool, BvS, and civil war but this is the one that hasn't peaked my interest and I love mcavoy and fassbender in their roles. Maybe it'll change when I see a trailer
Hope it's pretty good 🤘

That's cool.

I was looking forward to any other material after that dismal BvS trailer.

Hmm looks cool, I like the X-Men Animated Series from the 90's look the best but this looks cool. I wish the wings seemed more like a solid piece as opposed to clearly separate feathers. Looks weaker (structurally) than I had hoped.

Booooo.... Thought this would be a new picture of Arch Angel and not a fan yet of this Angel... Im a big Arch Angel fan and this doesn't do it for me. Reminds me of "Brazil" more than Xmen.

Unless there's some severe bend in those wings hiding the tips, or maybe that they extend further somehow, that is a very odd shape.

ermmm...

Those wings are really [frick]ed up. The designer slipped there big time.

I feel like this was lazy advertising...it's just the concept art with a boring grey background. However good X-Men movies may be recently, their marketing department really sucks.

Of course, I did like the finish product of X-Men Days of Future Past posters

Pretty meh. But the previous 2 X-Men movies have had really shit marketing campaigns and they both turned out decent, so I'll look forward to this movie no matter what.

After the Civil War trailer, Batman v Superman trailer, and Star Wars The Force Awakens hype;

I can't get excited for this film even though I loved DOFP.

Teenage black armor X-Men vs Apocalypse.

That doesn't seem epic as a Apocalypse fan for him to be defeated by a group of meddling kids and their wheelchair bound professor.

Knowing you're excited for Star Wars will make it that much sweeter when it's a piece of shit.

I really wish Fox was saving more characters for present day. Knowing that all these characters come from 30+ years ago dampens my faith in the future of the X-Men when Fox finally brings the series into the 21st century. Are we going to see these characters when they're in their 50's to 70's? All the lost potential of characters interacting in present day makes this all so disappointing.

Josh wilding begins his usual hate campaign against BvS on the other threads.Have promised never to glorify his troll rants with a comment. Divisive,my @$$.Even if doomsday is fixed( not like there's anything wrong with the portrayal in the first place)haters will always find a fault.if doomsday was a marvel character then the marvel buttlickers would be screaming ooh so epic, its perfect regardless of the design.my childhood has come alive and no extremist will ruin my enjoyment come 2016.
Ps sorry for going off topic for a minute there..xmen apocalypse looking like a underdog that will surprise many next year. Kinda like DOFP.
