Check Out A Possible Description For The X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Trailer

The first trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse will play in front of Star Wars: The Force Awakens later this month (that's right, THIS month), and a possible description of the footage has now surfaced after reportedly debuting Italian film industry summit. Read on for details...

The first trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse will no doubt be with us at some point in the next week or two, but before you get too excited, it doesn't sound all that different to the one shown at Comic-Con back in July (and like every other bit of footage shown off that weekend, it too leaked online). Still, that was unfinished, and it's no doubt going to be pretty damn good to get our first proper look at footage from this highly anticipated release. The following description was translated by ComicBook.com, and despite being rather familiar, it sounds great. Share your thoughts below...

The trailer opens with Jean Grey waking from a nightmare. She tells Professor Xavier something along the lines of, “I have seen the end of the world. There was only death.”

There’s a montage of footage of the young mutants at Xavier’s school, followed by a scene of Moira MacTaggert telling Xavier that they’ve discovered a god-like mutant who may be the origin of the species.

Cut to a shot of an intimidating hooded figure being followed by Psylocke and Storm. They search for mutants, and the hooded figure lists the many names he has been known by over the centuries. He says that the world needs to change, and be remade by mutants. The three of them find Magneto. Magneto asks, “Who are you?” The figure pulls down his hood to reveal the face of Apocalypse.

There’s a montage of the destruction caused by Apocalypse.

We see a shot of Xavier looking frightened. Either he or Jean says, “It can control all of us.” We’re shown two opposing groups of mutants (likely Apocalypse’s Horsemen and Xavier’s students and/or allies). Apocalypse sends a burst of energy through Xavier and his wheelchair, and Jean screams

There’s a slow motion scene of Quicksilver running through the hallway leading towards Cerebro.

Mystique tells Xavier, “I came to fight.”

Professor X enters the Cerebro chamber, and his eyes become black. He says, “I’ve never felt like this before,” and is possibly possessed by Apocalypse.

The final shot is of a bald Professor X.

Where's that DC/MARVEL tagteam FOX gif? The one that has Marvel on Captain America's head, DC on Winter Soldier's head, and Fox on Iron Man's head?

Someone post that gif.

We're all aware this is the SDCC teaser Singer showed right? I mean, they probably cleaned up visuals. Wonder if they fixed Apocalypse in it.

I'm confident in this film, but I just really want to see them go all out. Teamwork, diversity (culturally), and Archangel...

Not this pretty boy nonsense...

Forget about if you think he's pretty or not. What matters is story/plot quality and character arc. Good dialogue. Nice action.

All those wonderful things that make a good movie. heard about them?

@HornySpidey

When I use the term "pretty boy" I could give a crap less what the guy looks like. (Even though Warrington is known for being an extremely handsome man in the comics) when I use the term I am referring to the all looks and no development/true character portrayal to the comics. I've read Claremont's run featuring characters that I never really dug deep into like Colossus, Storm and even Banshee and Fox has been very half and half with cultural elements surrounding these things. The reason why I mentioned some of these things is because of the simple fact that you claimed what matters are "story/plot quality and character arc . Good dialogue (with Kinberg behind the scenes of the the script I expect him to ace some dialogue brilliantly but I also fear very heavily that the X2 "writers" involvement in this film ONLY consist of story elements rather than actual dialogue and more. As I mentioned before, I do have confidence in this film but there are so many other things that have me extremely concerned about how all of this will end and if some characters will receive the true justice they deserve on screen. Singer will give us a very dramatic and weighty X-Men flick but I fear that his own agendas behind these films may tint their true potential to stand out more than what we've gotten thus far.
