X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Set Pic Gives Us A New Look At Alexandra Shipp As 'Storm'

A new photo from the Montreal set of X-Men: Apocalypse has surfaced, featuring Alexandra Shipp in her Storm duds as she clowns around with her stunt double. Fans of the civilian attire the character sported in her early comic appearances should be happy...

Recently Olivia Munn shared a new set image of Psylocke, and now we have another look at Alexandra Shipp in her Storm civvies. The photo surfaced at the Universo X-Men Twitter account, and was apparently taken when Bryan Singer and his cast and crew returned to Montreal for X-Men: Apocalypse reshoots recently. Shipp's attire is reminiscent of the outfits Storm used to wear back in her early Mohawk days in the Marvel comics.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse is once again directed by Bryan Singer, and is set to open in theaters on May 27, 2016.

My least anticipated movie this year. Still refuse to give Fox money until they finally go all Deadpool with their X-Men movies. Deadpool, the only Fox flick that will be getting any money from me...lots of it.

I'm not feeling the hairdo. Halle Berry mostly wore a short haircut, but most of Storms comic presence was with long hair. Usually, Hollywood tries to make the female heroes look beautiful and strong. For some reason, they seem to continuously prefer a different light and look for Storm. If the studios would have played the cards properly, Storm is a character that could have easily had a stand alone film. I would have rather seen a African American with darker skin tone similar to the comics play Storm.

I'm going to watch how Disney handles Black Panther. Disney does not have a good track record in terms of diversity with roles of strength, beauty and influence.

4th movie this year I'm looking forward to . Like the Grace Jones look for Storm . Should be interesting seeing all the mutants taking on Apocalypse if the movie trends that way . Man , still upset about Minne blowing that game

Do people get amnesia and lose their memories after watching the X-Men movies, because people don't seem to remember that anyone who is in these movies who is an unknown celebrity gets very little screen time.

The stars of this movie are Michael Fassbender, Oscar Isaac, Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult, next in line is Sophie Turner, Rose Byrne and Peter Evans, after that you have everyone else who will receive very minimal time on screen and very little dialogue.

Do not expect this to be a movie about Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Psylocke and Storm because the actors that are playing these characters are NOT the box office draw, they are played mostly by unknown actors and are not being payed anywhere near what the big names are. These characters are only there for the action and to stand around looking spunky.

Hate her casting, but Apoc is still one or two on my "most anticipated" list for 2016... depending on if I'm on my rag on not.
