Blink got the spotlight earlier, and now it's the turn of Beast (played by Warm Bodies star Nicholas Hoult) in this latest "Power Piece" featurette for Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past. Featuring new snippets of footage from the movie, you can check it out after the jump!

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The beloved characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class, in an epic battle that must change the past to save our future.



X-Men: Days of Future Past's huge all-star cast includes Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Daniel Cudmore, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Halle Berry, Adan Canto, Anna Paquin, Evan Peters and Ellen Page, and is set to be released on May 23rd, 2014.

after DOFP the use of the costumes could be somewhat justified, maybe used them to hide their identities from the public as best they can.

ive always felt that for the movies, the reason wolverine uses a costume was to protect his identity given how he has the healing factor, making him age slowly, and the claws making his hands an extra lethal weapon.

Not saying it is going to turn out the same but didn't ASM 2 have around a 90-92% on RT this early in the reviews and it dropped to 55%. All I am saying don't use RT when only 12 people have submitted reviews.

Looks pretty badass. Gotta giggle at the mix of that god awful 70's suit and the light blue colouring of Hank. Delightfully horrendous.

On RT a movie isn't certified fresh or rotten until around 100 reviewers have put in reviews I believe.

Although I want this movie to be terrific and I like what I am seeing, realistically it is WAY too soon for that score to mean anything.

After at least around 30 or 40 reviews can we get an indication of the general attitude of the critics towards this film when the reviews will start to level off.

14 isn't enough right now, and that score will likely have dropped by next week.

When all is said and done I bet this film will be 'certified fresh', with a rating in the high 80's to lower nineties.

Somewhere in the Cap 2 range.

It definitely doesn't seem like the critics are unhappy with it so far.

Since the embargo lifted today, hopefully we'll get a better idea pretty soon!
