Fox wants Taylor Lautner!

20th Century Fox wants the Twilight Series rising star, Taylor Lautner, to be featured in Fox's upcoming movie, X-Men: First Class.

Recently, I found out in my local cinema's site reporting that 20th Century Fox has been attracted to recruit Jacob Black the Werewolf from Twilight series, Taylor Lautner.

Additionally, as quoted Aceshowbiz from Showbiz411, Fox has confirmed that Lautner is ready to play in X-Men: First Class, with the role to be revealed later.

Fox said that the studio wants a young, talented actor to be featured in the studio's new movie, with the hope to achieve great success.

X-Men: First Class, starring also James McAvoy as the young Charles Xavier, and directed by Matthew Vaughn.

Actually, I'm a Twilight-hater-like type to.

By the way, with that long hair and Indian skin, I think he can be Warpath:



But is he needed in First Class, I'm not sure :/

People, tween movie or Disney. He still is a up and coming actor. Remember Christopher Reeves, Christain Bale, RDJ all started somewhere.

This makes me laugh Fox had casually checked to see if Lautners available for a role in this movie(atleast thst's what the original article said )then other press articles started twisting that into meaning something else lol. Lautner's too busy anyway but atleast he's a great martial artist.

It's either a young Forge or a young Warpath, neither of which belong in First Class. For all we know, he could actually shine in this. But this film certainly isn't looking good so far. I hope the trailers blow my mind like Last Airbender. There's nothing i'd like more than to admit i'm wrong here. Don't get me wrong though, i still haven't seen Airbender so i very well could be wrong in my perception of the trailers. Especially with all the bad critiques its been given.

I don't think he is that bad an actor......and he has amazing martial arts and acrobatic ability. WTF is with this excessive hate on these films. I would hate on them too but Ive never seen them thus saving my judgment for when I watch it on FX.

flames809- It's not looking good because every move Fox seems to make about this film, points to them keeping the same fashion that the last two x-films were produced in. And that, to me, is not looking good at all.

Flames@ I think it's b/c Christian Bale did ALOT of work btw Newsies and Batman (I was sold just b/c he was the American Psycho:). Taylor has done (sigh) Sharkboy/Lavagirl and the Twilight movies. He's not a good actor at all, he just got put with ones that were WAY worse lol.

That and I'm just jaded that they're pulling a redo than even TRY to fix the story after 3. Hard, but possible.

Lautner is actually the only one of the main 3 actors that can actually act in Twilight, I saw the first two films since my ol' lady likes the series and I thought that besides Ashley Greene he has the best screen performance in those flims, and I think he could pull off Forge or Warpath nicely.

also Lautner has been in other things as well and his performance in Twilight is bad compared to what he he really can do, I blame the director for the bad acting in Twilight, because I have seen all 3 of the main actors do way better then what they do in that series.

antz- he was a 12 dozen movie also. and there not pulling a redo they getting young actors to play x men characters since its first class and there aren't no bad actors or worst every single actor r good and he will be good for the part of beast. i bet u this x men movie will be the best of all of them

HULK thinks that Lautner will be good as The Beast. He is the one who made Twilight good as it is. That non-acting, weak vampire is why the movie is sooooo bad!!!!
