The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy. The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.

well I really liked mission impossible:Ghost protocal, and Im deffinetly looking forward to the avengers. this guy really has it goin for him!

I hate to say it, but I don't think Renner will ever hit that big star status. He will do okay and get quite a few roles, but I don't think he will be the draw that a Damon, Cruise, Clooney, etc. are. He just doesn't have the looks to be that big draw. Kind of in line with what Grifter said. :-P

I really have a good feeling about this movie, Renner will probably do a better job than Damon . As long as they get rid of that " shakey cam" , man I hate that shit

Been a big fan of Renner since he played a vampire in an episode of the first season of Angel, he made a big impression, he was really good. Reccomend Renner fans watching the episode 'Somnambulist'. He looked way different back then too, though I suppose it was about ten years ago now. I wonder if Whedon hired him for Hawkeye based on knowing him from Angel?

He's up to play Steve McQueen in a bio on his life , he has an unusual gritty look hes not a pretty boy , which is why he's good for these roles .

I really liked his character in MI: Ghost Protocol. He was a lot like Hawkeye.

The trailer for this looked pretty good so I'm looking forward to this.
