A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as Spectre.

Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh (Andrew Scott), the new head of the Centre for National Security, questions Bond’s actions and challenges the relevance of MI6, led by M (Ralph Fiennes). Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) to help him seek out Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux), the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White (Jesper Christensen), who may hold the clue to untangling the web of Spectre. As the daughter of an assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot.

As Bond ventures towards the heart of Spectre, he learns of a chilling connection between himself and the enemy he seeks, played by Christoph Waltz.

Spectre features:
Director: Sam Mendes
Daniel Craig as James Bond
Christoph Waltz as Franz Oberhauser
Léa Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann
Ben Whishaw as Q
Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny
Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx
Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra
Ralph Fiennes as Gareth Mallory
Andrew Scott as Max Denbigh
Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner
Jesper Christensen as Mr. White,
Alessandro Cremona as Marco Sciarra

Spectre hits theaters November 6

That the whole movie?

Daniel Craig= the new Harrison Ford

Very unappreciative guy. I've liked him as Bond, but his comments of late show that he is ungracious. Bond is the only reason he's relevant. He's yet to establish himself in any other notable franchises; nor has he had a significant acting performance worthy of praise. Although, Layer Cake is probably his best work and that's like 10 years ago.

Idris Elba is Bond!

@InvisibleSanji the clips do reveal quite a lot

His "comments" were said jokingly to a question if he wanted to IMMEDIATELY start doing the next Bond but a bunch of tabloid bullshit blew it out of proportion.

And as much as Idris Elba is awesome, he'll never be Bond.

@JamesMann idk about that...

Anything can happen. The family who owns Eon Productions said they'd love him as Bond. I hope he is

He's too old already which is a problem, Craig was 38 with his first film. Elba would be approaching 50 if he were chosen (after Craig's 5th and final film and the time for Elba's movie to come out).

@FrozenJoy

... when you see Roger Moore who was old enough to be a grandfather bedding a woman in her 20's? Yes. Age REALLY matters.

Craig's comments mirror Sam Mendes' when he was asked immediately after finishing Skyfall if he would come back to direct. They're both exhausted from shooting this huge spectacle film.

@JamesMann age isn't a factor as much anymore. RDJ is 50. Affleck is 43 like Elba. Elba looks like he's in his mid 30s (black don't crack). He's in prime shape. So should Affleck not play batman cause he's too old??? An older Bond isn't a bad Bond. This guy by no means looks like a grandpa

Idris Elba doesn't look like an old ass grandpa. Roger Moore does

Old ass

Suave mother[frick]er

@ComicsBornAndBred

Problem with that analogy is:
A. RDJ has already been playing that character since 2006 when they first shot Iron Man, when Downey was 41.
B. Batman in BVS is closer to TDKR who is an older version of the character. By the time he's 50 he'll have played the character for 7 years.
C. Elba WOULD be 50 with his very first movie. With the rate of Bond films every 3 years you'd be lucky for him to be in more than two movies.
D. James Bond has ALWAYS been 37-45 (which Craig was in Casino Royale), the only reason Craig is still going is because he's contracted to one more film (he probably would have finished earlier if the whole MGM financial debacle hadn't happened).

GhostDog - 10/24/2015, 9:38 PM
@JamesMann problem with what you've said....

So what if he's a 50 year old Bond??? He doesn't look it. Downey started at 41...and??? He's 50 now and still going strong. He doesn't look 50. Affleck will be 50 playing Bats at some point. Doesn't matter of you start young if you're still playing the part at an older age. Especially is you're still pulling it off.

Daniel Craig looks 50. He's wrinkled to the tee. Looks worn out

Not to mention he has resting duck face lol

Age is, as cliche as it sounds, just a number. Elba looks younger than Craig, Downey and Affleck. He's a phenomenal actor as well. Bond has always been 37-45....change the norm. Batman is an older vigilante in BvS. Why not explore a Bond who's 50, still in the game, but aging? He's operating in an espionage world that changed from when he was young. He survives and thrives because of his old school methods. He's old but not obsolete

Age does matter... Especially when you must commit to a franchise for 10+ years. Naming RDJ and Ben means nothing especially because we haven't seen what Ben can do and RDJ doesn't have to do too much....
GhostDog
GhostDog - 10/24/2015, 9:42 PM
@BlackStar25 Ben wont have to do much as he's hiding under a mask and a stunt double is on call easy. There are older actors who are as vibrant as younger actors. Longevity can not only be measured by age, but by vitality and drive.

The problem with comparing Elba who hasn't even been chosen to play Bond is by the time he is chosen he'd be 50. RDJ and Ben will have already played their characters for years to over a decade.

"Why not explore a Bond who's 50, still in the game, but aging? He's operating in an espionage world that changed from when he was young. He survives and thrives because of his old school methods. He's old but not obsolete"

Minus the "50" part they already did that exact story in Skyfall.

They already changed the Bond norm with Casino Royale, you shouldn't change the norm when your new norm hasn't even been around long enough to be a norm (lol)!

JamesMann - 10/24/2015, 9:50 PM
Enjoy what you have now before talking about a reboot Bond.

Seriously, this Elba fancasting has been going on since Skyfall, wait until the mother[frick]er has actually left the goddamn role!
GhostDog
GhostDog - 10/24/2015, 9:55 PM
@JamesMann it was explored in SKYFALL but not very deeply. A couple scenes of him missing some shots during training trials and having some physical ailments wasn't enough. I think there's a need for a psychological examination of old age in a profession that is dictated by getting the job done by any meqns neccesary. Bond in SKYFALL, never seemed to struggle against his opponents, but he only struggled during the MI6 tests.

Show me a Bond that can fail in the field. Show me a Bond that has to contend with younger agents; a youthful new enemy. A Bond who has to battle the fact that agents may be obsolete in a word where espionage is ruled by drone warfare and hacking.
JamesMann
JamesMann - 10/24/2015, 10:03 PM
@ComicsBornAndBred

We have had a Bond who fails, we've had a Bond who watches his wife get gunned down by his nemesis, we've seen Bond lose his earliest love, we've seen Bond lose his mother figure, Bond has failed before. A younger agent is fine and dandy and can be done in a Bond film without making Bond into a grandfather. These are all fine themes and ideas to explore, but you don't need an older actor to do these things, you can very well just have spy's be obsolete, not Bond himself.

Normally, I'd pounce on Sony for releasing 9 freaking clips BUT each one is only 20-30 seconds in length so there's not even 4 minutes of footage here.
GhostDog
GhostDog - 10/24/2015, 10:34 PM
@JamesMann all of those things Bond experienced were in the old cheesy films. I don't want Elba because he's older I want him because he embodies all of the qualities that make Bond great: he's suave, debonair and intimidating. He's a phenomenal actor as well. He'd never phone it in. He's such a visceral and commanding actor. But, to each his own. You have your opinions and I have mine. I respect your viewpoints even if I don't agree.

Idris Elba is a great actor, but he should never be James Bond. It isn't racist to say so either. James Bond was written by Ian Fleming and based on his friends in the SAS. Based on real people. He is half Swiss and half British. He is the child of European aristocrats. He is white. he was written to be white, just as Shaft was written to be black. That is the truth.
