We've seen Daniel Craig's 007 battle a number of nasty villains over the years, but what will make Rami Malek's character different to the baddies played by the likes of Mads Mikkelson and Christoph Waltz?

Well, more details about the Mr. Robot star's character in No Time to Die have now been revealed, including the fact that he's called Safin. According to producer Barbara Broccoli, "We’ve thrown the book at [Bond] on this one. He is really the supervillain. He’s the one that really gets under Bond’s skin." Considering how personal things have become in the past, that's obviously a bold claim.

The longtime James Bond producer adds that Safin is "a nasty piece of work."

There have been a lot of troubling reports about James Bond 25 and it's widely rumoured that it's been plagued by issues which could result in it being a total mess. Throw in on-set injuries, controversy among fans about the "new" 007, and claims that director Cary Fukunaga fell out with the crew because he was busy playing Red Dead Redemption II on his PlayStation 4.

Now, we'll just have to wait and see whether any of that will have an impact on what we see in theaters next Spring. Are you guys excited for No Time to Die and Rami Malek's Safin?

Hopefully this is a good send off to Craig, its time for a new Bond. His run on the characters had been up and down with each film, Casino Royal and Skyfall are great. Quantum Of Solace and Specter are crap.
No way they will have Lashana Lynch take over, no offense to her, but people don't go to watch OO7 movies they go watch James Bond movies. a movie without James Bond would fail

Just checked out the meaning of the name "Safin". Apparently it's the title of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Check it out, it's fascinating.

So I'm wondering if what I read about the figure will in some way be configured into Rami Malek's villain character. And if so, how?

''and claims that director Cary Fukunaga fell out with the crew because he was busy playing Red Dead Redemption II on his PlayStation 4.''

RDR2 is most definitely one of the best games of this generation, but that is not a reason to have a falling out over

Mr. Robot is James Bond’s son. I’m calling it right now.

The claims about Cary Fukunaga delaying production to play RDR2 aren’t true:

“There’s not a minute on this job that isn’t scheduled, and even during a shoot day, in the hours before call, between takes and setups, and after we wrap there’s always a line of dedicated and hard working department heads hungry to prep our next sequences, no one sleeps on this kind of job. So sure it’s hard, but it’s still the best job in the world and I’d never disrespect the hardest working cast and crew. We’re all in this together. As for my PS4 relationship, if my RDR2 progress is any indication, it’s been stunted at 63% for months and if anyone spoils the end for me before I wrap on B25 I’m going to be pissed.”

Doesn’t sound like the kind of director to prioritize a video game over his work, especially when everyone else is busting their ass for the movie.

He's going to kill Bond's girlfriend from the last movie, I mean that's pretty much a given at this point.

So this Safin is supposed to be a bigger bad than Blofeld?

Blofeld is supposed to be Bond's greatest villain. Even when they rebooted him in Spectre they revealed he was the big bad behind all of James' suffering... "It was me James. The author of all your pain".

Well it Safin not Dr.No. Some people think would be late Christopher Lee role Scaramaga From Man With Golden gun but where his golden gun or Thunderballs Largo which all unlikely a new Villain Character.
