Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Avengers: Age of Ultron May 1, 2015.

Even more enjoyable when you watch it again and actually notice what is going on in the movie. I'm guessing the prob with some people may be that it's just way too much to digest. Especially after only one viewing.

Strange as I knew I liked the film after my first viewing, but knew I had to see it again (asap) in order to fully appreciate it. Haven't gotten around to it yet.

@Kurne- You'll most likely understand it a lot more and notice new things that you may have missed. It's almost like I have a new fav scene every time I watch it.

[SPOILER] [SPOILER] [SPOILER]

That moment when Tony and Steve Turned on eachother for a few seconds during the "The Visions Birth" scene is now one of my new favourite "Holy SH*T" moments. Loved it

Yeah I feel that's what'll happen. For me it's really just memorising the scenes from the first time and anticipating them the second, being able to, as you said, digest properly. Paying attention. (not saying the audience is at fault, talking about the film.)

@Jollem as we seem to be the only two on this site who like TASM movies, I can tell you the critics got it wrong with Age of Ultron. Does it have problems? Yeah. But it serves as a more thrilling (at times emotional) albeit humorous sequel. Spader is awesome as Ultron, and Hawkeye is given a lot more to do this time around. LOL @ "seeing as how rotten tomatoes usually has a crush on the marvel studios movies."

Typically a block buster will garnish 300 reviews or more.

It's a pity the TV spots gave away Vision actually. I'd only seen the theatrical trailers going in so Vision's physical appearance/abilities in the movie were a complete unknown to me for the most part. Cap is the man though. Hands down the best of the Avengers. Owed both to the character himself and Chris Evans. No way would I have thought a few years that Captain America would be my favourite onscreen superhero so I salute you Mr. Evans! Well played.

Why are you always calling out DC fanboys but never Marvelfanboy in a DC thread! ....... Flip flop.

Btw If anyone even thought it would be certified a rotten Tomato is a total moron! If IM2 or Thor 2 didn't reach Rt score this will definitely not......... Too many marvel dick riders.

" these reviews are brutal, tho."

There seem to be a lot more positive reviews than negative. Or are you just solely focusing on the negative ones?

JoeMomma29 - 4/30/2015, 8:45 AM
@Brainiac13

Nope not after reading those reviews..........LOL! Just joking, we are actually going Friday morning. Tonight is too late for an old man like me! So we are letting the kids stay home and we are going to watch the movie and than have lunch!

And yet people say I am DC Fanboy.......yeah would a DC fanboy take his kids out of school for a Marvel movie etc?????

@DellRusk @Jollem- It's a thing called Reception/Review cherry picking which is something that a lot of people do on THIS site. Pretty lame if you ask me lmao

You mean I can just focus on the positive reviews for MOS and justify that it is an awesome movie????
