Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to the Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure. Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., who returns as Iron Man, along with Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk. Together with Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, and with the additional support of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, the team must reassemble to defeat James Spader as Ultron, a terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they confront two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Pietro Maximoff, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and meet an old friend in a new form when Paul Bettany becomes Vision. Written and directed by Joss Whedon and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” published in 1963. Get set for an action-packed thrill ride when The Avengers return in Avengers: Age of Ultron May 1, 2015.

I loved the movie. I think it was better than the first Avengers.

Spoilers Below

I enjoyed the movie a lot, but it definitely had its flaws:

- This movie is SO afraid to kill off civilians. There are huge MoS scale battles and afterwards it is confirmed that no civilians were killed. Ultron literally has one confirmed kill in this movie. And I can't believe Dr Cho survived a point blank blast... and that elevator full of people that got crushed by the Hulk - Hulkbuster battle didn't result in any deaths. It was rediculous. The Avengers probably killed more people when they raided Strucker's base than Ultron did...

- I was expecting character development for Tony Stark... guilt for creating Ultron and causing worldwide chaos, but this was completely glossed over... at the end he's just chilling in a supercar like nothing happened.

- Ultron wasn't even a team buster in this movie. I was expecting him to be able to take on the team singlehandedly like in the comics, not get ragdolled by the Hulk for cheap laughs. But I can understand if they're saving a team busting scene for Thanos so that it has more impact.

- Half of the action scenes in this movie were shaky cam and it was impossible to see wtf was even happening.

@OscorpEmployeeo
"this movie is so afraid to kill off civilians"

no disrespect for you, or the CBM.com users in general...but are we really asking that question? have we gotten to the point of WANTING to see people die in a superhero movie? are we really that cynical?

spoilers:

@Spidey91 It just seems implausibe with the amount of destruction in this movie, that no civilians seem to die. Plus I feel it would have been good character development for Tony to have to feel guilt for causing civilian deaths - potentially leading into Civil War.

That scene where Cap fails to catch the car, felt like a good way to show that the Avengers can't save everyone, but then Thor came to the rescue ( in an admittedly cool scene). Plus it makes Ultron seem less of a threat if he fails to kill anyone.

But don't get me wring, I still loves the movie.

I thought the movie was great and I was so surprised at how much they managed to humanize Ultron.

It honestly appeared to me that Vision might end up taking the Adam Warlock role in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, because I really think Guardians 3000 will show Quill's dad is one of the original members and leave the "Him" character out.

@OscorpEmployeeo- Dude I'm pretty sure his Guilt will be touched upon in Civil War (When the registration act begins). Did We see Tony Shaken up right after fighting the Chitauri at the end of the avengers? No we saw his Stress disorder explored in the next movie (IM3).

@OscorpEmployeeo- I can definitely see something in Civil War where Steve tries to tell Tony that Super Heroes should be a independent force and should not be controlled by the Government ect ect.. Tony then Either lashes out at him or possibly even breaks down while trying to explain why something like this is needed (Alluding to the events of Age of Ultron and his guilt). Yeah I'm obv making this up as I go along but the point is, any form of trauma/ect that is caused post-certain events should be explored in the upcoming movie. Imo.

@OscorpEmployeeo

some civilians must have died, no question about it. but I don't think the movie needed to show bodies or anything like that.
I don't know, the concept of "dead people = stakes = drama" just seems wrong to me. in movies in general, not just CBMs.

as for Civil War, thay have that movie to develop that storyline further.

@RichardBodly Well people here will think I'm being sarcastic..they don't take good comments seriously, like for example you.
