No, if anyone from the 2008 Hulk movie shows up again, it will be Liv Tyler. I hope she at least gets a cameo in the Avengers because she was a big part of the 616 and Ultimate Avengers comics.

I've been interested in the cast of The Avengers for awhile now because, to me, it seems a little thin.

After the 'magnificent seven' and then Loki not much else seems to be going on. Although IMDB (as far as it can be a reliable source of info) intriguingly has Jenny Agutter in a role. I wonder if she is going to be some link between SHIELD and the Senate?

But certain characters seem to me to be essential to the narrative from the other Marvel Studios films.

Thor is stuck in Asgard so surely there will be some asgardian element in there. Perhaps Heimdall giving him advice on how to get to earth?

Bruce Banner is on the run - and General Ross is still after him. We have already seen Tony Stark offer him help so surely we'll be seeing him too. And Banner without Betty takes away a huge part of his characters drive so I would have thought she would have a cameo too.

Steve Rogers and Tony Stark seem to be already closely linked to SHIELD so they are the only two characters who I think can avoid having to use anyone from their respective franchises (tho some cameos would be nice).

Also I wonder where the scene between Ross and Stark fits in the chronology? Stark tell Ross that he hears he has a problem (this is presumably the Hulk still on the run) but then Ross says "You should talk". But at the moment I have no idea what problem he is refering too.

well, they had ROBERT DOWNEY, JR. in The Incredible Hulk, so, even though they've replaced Norton, TIH is still in the same continuity/universe as the rest of the shared-marvel-verse movies, as IM, Thor and CA:TFA.

and the character that SHOULD be in next year's The Avengers is Gen. Ross, played by William Hurt. Live Tyler would be a hot bonus, if they invite her along.

as for Abomination, he didn't die, he was taken into custody (they just didn't show the HOW). Hulk just rendered him heavily incapacitated at the end of their brawl. and Sterns (aka The Leader..maybe), well, his head was shown to have swollen, but, after the lackluster of the also-big headed (literally) Hector Hemmond, in GL, i ain't too sure if they would bring the character back, in his new identity, just yet.

Honestly, i hope tim roth, liv tyler will be or make a cameo in The Avengers. lol, only want them cause of the continuation though. And i don't see why ppl hated TIH, i thought it was great (:

sorry about all the bad grammar and stuff. I don't really understand the posting stuff yet. @impenn8 I don't remeber anyone hating TIH I though it just didn't make enough money. and sorry about posting this in fanfic. but does anyone think another hulk film is still possible?
