There seems to be a growing since of agreement on the web that Jensen Ackles would make a great choice for the next Batman. I for one agree. Anyone that's watched Supernatural would know that Dean Winchester is Bruce Wayne without the money. Although he does have the car :) Seriously though Jensen has proven across 8 seasons of Supernatural that he has the the Acting chops, the physicality, and the looks to play the Dark Knight. Specifically I think Jensen will nail the character of Batman in a Superman/Batman mash-up where Batman will need to be completely un-intimidated by Superman. Jensen will easily pull of the "I don't care how powerful you are" attitude. Also, this is just my belief, but I think Jensen and Henry will have great onscreen chemistry.
I'm not the only one thinking this either. The LA times put out a list and more importantly a poll in which Jensen dominated. Are there other actors that can play Batman? Yes, of course, but none with all the pluses Jensen brings to the table.
