A Hungarian site claims that scenes will be shot for Christopher Nolan's threequel come Spring, and they also once again mention Robin William's name along with the rest of the confirmed cast..

The following report comes from a site called Borsonline. In it they reveal that both Bale and Hathaway will be shooting interiors and exteriors. And Robin Williams' name is also mentioned along with the rest of the cast. Do they have confirmation that this rumor is true? Or are they just assuming it's true when listing the rest of the (actually confirmed) cast? My moneys on the latter to be honest since that rumor was all but put to sleep as quickly as it materialized. But, you just never know!

The following is translated via Google translator but some is still gibberish I'm afraid. You get the gist anyway.

Hungarian town will be Gotham City. Batman moves us in town for a few weeks, as you wield szuperhősről upcoming new movie, cast parade.

England and America in addition to Romania and Hungary turned to the new Batman movie. The crew of The Dark Knight Rises Pepper has learned that the spring comes to our country for a few weeks, both outdoor and studio scenes will be admitted.

Another world is visiting our country, because the main character, Christian Bale, under such names appear in the cast as Anne Hathaway, who will shape the cats, and Morgan Freeman, Robin Williams, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, or.

Christian Bale plays Batman, the Catwoman Anne Hathaway

We do not know exactly how many people come to us szereplőgárdából, but Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway has definitely become our scenes. Bucharest will also participate in a lot of shooting, but there was also claimed by Hungarian experts. Work will be exciting, because Batman is technically brilliant solutions - Pepper said the film inside a home.

Robin Williams is rumored on IMDB...just like tom hardy WAS and now he's confirmed. it would be kinda cool to see RW as Hugo but theres already possibly three villians in this film already. and there talkin about Talia al ghul being casted too. JGL is alberto falcone supposedly. This will be a lot of villians in ONE flick. better make it a 3 hour epic ending to the franchise.

Reading the author's grasp of the English language, do any of you actually believe that he has the inside scoop on any Hollywood affairs?

Editor's Note: Ah sorry, reading Gunslinger's post below, I see this is just you taking a foreign language and using online translators to decipher it. Not the author making a weak attempt at English.

if Robin Williams is on it so he should play The Ventriloquist
He is perfect for the part. Riddler is to perfect for Johnny Depp!

@Ror, by the way, I like the random excuse to post a sexy photo of Ms. Hathaway.

We have new scouting information, and here is Anne Hathaway smoking a cigarette in her underwear.

why would a Bucharest tabloid get the heads up on Robin Williams being in the film before any other news outlet in the world?

this is utter Bull shite!

I highly doubt he will be in the film, with the last 2 batman films all major characters were announced before filming...

why would they say "oh yea and Robin Williams is in the film also" right before they start filming...

this is bull and if Nolan and company wanted this news to get out they would have let it out on their own the same way they did it with Hardy, Hathaway, ledger, Neeson, Freeman, and any other major cast member.

PERIOD!

Robin would be cool choice as Strange. Thou i prefer Ralph Fiennes or Bryan Cranston.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt should play Alberto Falcone, Black Mask or The Great White Shark. Nolan said he is going to make more darker film this time so i think these characters would be cool choices.

My other choices as the third villain.
Alfred Molina or Bob Hoskins as The Penguin

Brian Cox or Ray Winstone as Rupert Thorne

And Eva Green as Talia

haha, no offence taken! It is hilarious. maybe there are other online translators that could do a better job but it's enough to gather what they are talking about.

As for the Williams bit, like I said it most likely is just this site getting wind of his name as rumored and assuming he has been confirmed, but I thought it was worth mentioning all the same just in case!

The cast is going to be big. A lot of Bats villains can be included as New Mob Bosses in Town and different hired mercenaries out for the Bats head. It just makes sense!

Williams will be awesome as Strange/Nashton hybrid! This would also confirm that plot that was released a while ago and I thought could be true and no one else did :D

The more the merrier. BRING IT ON. If anyone can put together a great cast and make it so that each character isn't overly done. It's Nolan.

Maybe Williams(Strange) develops the venom that Bane will be using and together the two figure out Batman's identity and break the Bat.

Hey everyone, this is my first post on this site. So, uh, Long Time Reader, First Time Poster.

So, I've been thinking about these rumors concerning Robin Williams cast as the villian Hugo Strange. Let's look at something very important. Christopher Nolan is, much like many of the great directors out there, very loyal to the people he works with. He cast Williams as the "Villian" in one of his great movies, Insomnia. Williams was great. While this rumor is not cast in stone, it is highly possible that Williams could be cast in this movie, whatever the capacity.

I for one love Williams in his dramatic roles (The Fisher King, Insomnia, Dead Poet's Society, Good Will Hunting) and his stand-up comedy is amazing. He is always dissappointing when he is cast in a comedic role for the main reason that he is having to conform to someone else's idea of comedy. I would certainly love to see his take on a Batman villian in a world that would allow his dramatic side to shine.

Thanks for reading.

@imagine Congrats on getting your cherry popped

Also, for my two cents, I definitely don't mind Williams being in this at all. Whereas in Spider-man 3 the choice of villains and plot seemed random and unpolished, I know that Nolan won't bite off more than he can chew. In other words, he could have as many villains as he needs and still make a great story.
