With This Cast Alone, THE BLACK PANTHER Will Be The Crown Jewel Of All Superhero Movies

This is a review of the impressive cast so far assembled by Marvel Studios for it's up and coming Black Panther Movie. Also I give you my picks and I want to know your picks for more movie characters.

Let's cut to the chase, enough with the BS. No need to even tell you that the Black Panther is the man...you saw it for yourself, and that was just a glimpse. I mean he came into the Captain America Civil War as if Marvel was doing us a favor, you know just to keep the die hard BP fans happy that have been asking for him for years! Marvel Studios Exec Kevin Feige had this to say, "We needed a fresh pair of eyes to bring into the Captain America and Iron Man beef." I mean really dude, that's basically what he said, that was the justification for adding the BP and BOOM when the smoke cleared what we have after his intro was the most exciting and anticipated superhero of 2016. What a debut! After the Civil War no one talked about Captain America, or Iron Man, it was Black Panther 1st and Spiderman 2nd. To be honest I wasn't even that impressed with the way the directors used the BP. Me being a die hard fan I knew it was a lot more to this characters abilities and story that will be on full display in his 2018 solo film. So far what we seen of his cast is stuff only one can dream of. Let's take a peek into the core of the cast for the Black Panther. It's the kind of movie I believe this cast would star in for free, because of the importance it will play in society.
Let's start with the lead character Chadwick Boseman, the guy should be locked up for the way he stole the show in Captain America: Civil War, I mean the dude was ice cold as T'Challa. That's a bad MF right there, hands down the man! Then you have the new Queen of Disney right now, Lupita Nyong'o, I mean what can I say? From 12 Years a Slave to Star Wars  her stardom is rising and growing by the second.  She will play Nakia. Though these two picks have not been official yet but one would have to believe that Andy Serkis and Martin Freeman will reprise their roles as Klaw and Everett K. Ross, two fantastic actors by the way, who I believe didn't scratch the surface in their previous Marvel Films. I'm telling you that Andy Serkis as Klaw will be a bad man as the villain in this BP movie. That's one creepy dude. Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger as the second villain teamed up once again with Ryan Coogler who will be directing the Black Panther, you know these two make magic together. Shit Michael B. Jordan is a leading man himself, I can't wait to see what he does as Kilmonger. Then we have Danai Gurira leading the Dora Milaje as Okoye that's just brilliant! Nothing else to say!

Now let's take a look at the new cast announcement last week. Let's start with Florence Kasumba as Ayo, this is one of my favorite ones right here. You might remember her from the Civil War movie, she was Ms. Move or you will be moved, as she said to Black Widow. That's one tough lady, so glad they brought her back. Perfect pick for a warrior in the Dora Milaje. Then you have Daniel Kaluuya as W'Kabi, he is a talented young actor who will be perfect as T'Challa's right hand man. Next we have Winston Duke as Ape Man. Duke is 6'7 already. After Marvel puts him in a giant ape suit and adds a little CGI he will be absolutely TERRIFYING!! Now last but not least the one and only Mr. Forest Whitaker, this man is a legend from small roles to award winning roles with a movie list I won't dare to try and name. He puts his heart, blood, sweat and tears in every scene. He will play Zuri, a warrior legend of Wakanda who helps guild the young king T'Challa. I can't wait to see him schooling and dropping Knowledge on Chadwick Boseman. Dope Dope Dope!!!!!

I told you yesterday I wanted to see Aja Naomi King play Shuri, The BP's little sister. I would also like to see John Boyega as the White Wolf, Crazy Right? Got to get him in there somehow. He would do it for nothing! With so many great characters to chose from in the BP's rich story line please tell me what characters you would like to see in the movie and the actor or actress you would like to see play them. Let's have a conversation. As always thank you for chillin' with me! God Bless you! -Gab

Aja Naomi as Shuri would be perfect. I think John Boyega would be great in a Black Panther movie too but he should be saved for a sequel, especially since he still has another Star Wars movie to film.

I like John Boyega a tad too much to have him be a supporting character or "One of many villains"

Brother's gotta be his own Super hero/villain, know what I'm saying?

If he was White Wolf as a primary adversary in some degree, then maybe. If he's gonna be white Wolf, better steal the scene see?

Or if he was in Aquaman even as Aqualad and they actually went deep into how he's Black Manta's son and choses between two allegiances, i'd be happy for my boy John.

But I digress, good article

I was hoping Boyega would be in the film as well. He was actually my first choice for BP.

@Gab - For the most part, I'm happy with the cast. The only one I seem to be having difficulties with is Jordan. Don't get me wrong. I like what I've seen of him so far ("The Wire," "Fruitvale Station" and "Creed"), but I can't imagine him playing Killmonger. Guess I imagined someone bigger and more menacing like Michael Jai White.

@SuperCat - MJW IS SHORT!! HE'S LIKE 5'9 220 POUNDS! MBJ IS 6 FOOT LIKE 200 BUT HE SAID HE WOULD HIT 230 FOR THIS ROLE!!

SuperCat - 10/17/2016, 8:58 AM
@Gab - Whoa. Really? I always thought MJW was close to my height (6'2"). Guess folks look bigger onscreen. MBJ is beefing up to 230??? Good to know. Well, he proved he has no problem hitting the gym ("Creed").
