The tournament will incorporate 32 teams consisting of the following

1. Any hero character from DC
2. Any hero character from Marvel
3. Any villain character From DC
4. Any villain character from Marvel



There is no limit to how many CBM members can be on a team, but each team must consist of 4 characters.

The simplest way I can think to do this is the first 31 people to sign up will be entered into the tournament.

A 128 character pool will be presented with the start of the tournament.

draft order will be chosen via random selection, with the first pick spot going to the first person who can answer the following question.

"what was different about the hulk on earth 774 in the marvel multiverse?"

And the answer to your question is:

Bruce Banner of Earth-774 mirrors that of his Earth-616 counterpart up until the point in which Banner was in the accident that transformed him into the Hulk. Much like on Earth-616, Banner would rescue young Rick Jones from the gamma bomb blast and transform into the Hulk the following night. However, in this reality he would transform into his common green-skinner form and retain the mind of Bruce Banner, unlike Earth-616 in which he manifested in his grey skinned Hulk form and showed a more savage personality.

The lists in the comments are are just team wish lists. Once HoGs got enough teams, he will release the list.

Though I wonder if it will be first come first served.

First of all, the answer to your question (before anyone else gets to it!):

Hulk on Earth-774 is different because he still had Bruce Banner's intellect.

I should clarify the rules. all of your lists are most likely not going to happen. Your team has to match the parameters set. One hero and one villain each from each respective company.

Marv3l was the first to answer, so he gets the first choice in the draft.

RunDTC, yes you sign up just by commenting.

How the draft will work, marv3l will choose his first team member, then everyone else will choose a team member from the same category. Categories are 1) marvel heroes, 2) dc heroes, 3) marvel villains, 4) dc villains.

Similar characters, sidekicks, and alternate characters are linked.

example: if you choose superman, you have the option to choose alternate versions of him such as classic, Superboy, Superboy 2 (Conner), Supergirl, Eradicator, Zod, Bizarro, or Sentry*

* = you can choose a similar character at marvel, but then you must change one of the undrafted Marvel characters to it's DC similar counterpart.

There will be 128 characters to choose from, each with alternate versions of that character to choose from.

alternate examples
Thor - Ultimate, beta ray bill, classic 616, etc.
Spiderman - Classic, Ben Reilly, Kaine, Miles Morales, Mayday Parker, etc.
Captain America - Classic, Ultimate, Bucky, Bucky-Cap, Anti-Cap, etc.

Basically any variation on the same character and power set...

after each draft choice is made, you have to decide which version of that character will be used for the duration of the tournament.

This may end in fire...lol Sounds like fun. I'm in on the carnage,though I have a feeling the character list might be omitting some real obscure choices....

I'm actually working on omitting overpowered characters.

Sentry will be available as an alternate "style" choice for Superman, but the Void will not be choose-able.
