Plot: Mario and Luigi are two excellent plumbers, who get sucked down a drain and wind up in a world, The Mushroom Kingdom, which has been enslaved by Bowser, King of the Koopas! Now there guides, Yoshi and Toad, must help them defeat Bowser, save the Princess, and escape The Mushroom Kingdom!

Ok, I'm sorry, but this does not do Mario any justice at all; in fact, this makes the last Super Mario Bros movie better. Lets see why:
Joe Pesci as Mario - You got a much older Mario in this movie, compare to the last.
Patrick Fugit as Luigi - I don't see this guy as the Luigi type at all.
Ray Park as Yoshi - Shit, Yoshi doesn't need an actor. Just a good cgi and sound effect.
Zachary Gorden as Toad - There are alot of Toads in the series and their ages vary greatly. They are all not children.
Anne Hathaway as Peach - C'mon, there are better female actress that can play as Peach than Anee Hathaway.
Michael Clarke Duncan as Bowser - NO! Just no; this pick is cliche.
Tom Hardy as Wario - . . . . What!?
Andy Serkis as Waluigi - In retrospect, this guy is better off as Wario.

In short, I don't really feel this working out as a good fancast. Mario and Luigi don't appear as brothers (which is one of the flaws if you remember from the last movie) the cast choice is not only just wrong but too many (you could of save Yoshi and Wario for the next movie, and Waluigi for a Wario movie), and you didn't include Donkey Kong in it (no actor for the monkey, just use special effects).

Everything else is great, although I'd make yoshi CGI (although my yoshi would be a bit more guillermo del toro-ified with the creature effects and abnormalities).

No....just...no.

None of the actors match their roles. And Ray Park CANNOT be Yoshi, in any form, because Yoshi is not a dude.

And why all the Andy Serkis buttrape? Just because he was good in Apes does not mean he plays any role. lol

Sorry to be harsh...you just hurt my feelings a little bit. Love ya bud. (no homo)
