Johnny Depp returns to his iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow in an action-packed adventure. Crossing paths with the enigmatic Angelica (Penélope Cruz), he's not sure if it's love—or if she's a ruthless con artist who's using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn't know whom to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.

I like it. Jesus Christ pose:) Not sure we needed another Pirates film really, but I'll give it a chance since it's dropped Bloom and Nightly and is focusing on Cap'n Jack.

Geoffrey Rush's character, Barbosa, is so funny when he's interacting with Jack Sparrow. Gotta love that rivalry relationship.

Comic Book Movie?

@UltimateSpiderman

This particular Pirates movie is based on a fantasy novel called On Stranger Tides.
So I suppose that can be used to justify Pirates 4 news on this site.
It's not strictly a comic book but it still fits within the CBM fanbase

Prometheus isn't a CBM either but most of us still look forward to updates on it's progress.

Cool, but not looking at your target with super in accurate guns? i really don't think he's gonna be getting kill-shots. it's a little dumb. if he aimed both of them at the screen, it would be better.

@HRDWYR you're obviously the only person here who thinks that. and if its such a "shitty" franchise then are why are they making enough money to make 4 films? so just go [frick] off and rant about Spider-man: Turn Off The Dark some more

@Deadpool and really? they could've done much better? like what exactly? seriously, i want to know since you do have experience with advertising and marketing, right?

Damn! Drawing lines in the sand already? That why I love this site. You could the tension with a strand of cotton candy....lol

BTW....I'm starting to wonder why they just don't rename the series 'The Adventures of Jack Sparrow"
