Chris Pratt Would Be Down For An AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Appearance

Even though it's probably unlikely, Chris Pratt has said he'd be open to appearing on the second season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. after he finishes shooting the final season of NBC's hit comedy Parks and Recreation. Come check it out!

Even though Chris Pratt was known and loved by many for his role as Agent Burt Macklin a.k.a. Andy Dwyer on NBC's hit series Parks and Recreation, arguably the best comedy on television, Pratt more or less became an overnight sensation following the release of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, which climbed its way up the ladder to become the highest grossing CBM of 2014. His star will continue to grow next year as he leads an even bigger film, Universal's Jurassic World.

He's currently in the midst of shooting the final season of Parks and Recreation, which will wrap up in mid-December. While attending a press event for the final season, Zap2it asked Pratt, that with his schedule clearing up, whether or not he'd be up for an appearance on the second season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., he replied: "I wouldn't rule it out. Marvel would have to decide, but if it made sense for the brand and for the story, yeah sure.

While the possibility of him appearing is exciting, it is still highly unlikely he actually does so considering where the MCU is heading based on Phase 3 announcements and the fact that his character Star-Lord is currently in an entirely different galaxy. Pratt joins Robert Downey Jr. and Jeremy Renner as Marvel film actors who've said they'd be open to appearing on the ABC show.

What do you guys think? Would you like Star-Lord to make an appearance to update his mixtape? It'd certainly help boost the ratings.. Or would you rather Marvel keep their film and television shows separate? Sound off with your thoughts below!

From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team--the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits--Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon; Groot, a tree-like humanoid; the deadly and enigmatic Gamora; and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand--with the galaxy's fate in the balance.

Not sure how he'll appear in AoS though, maybe some sort of portal pops up and we get a glimpse of him or something.

If he appeared on an episode, it'd make me actually tune in and watch but I don't see it happening. When he returns to earth, that'll be saved for one of the movies NOT tv

Maybe down the line of Shield introduces S.W.O.R.D on the show, then starlord is possible.

They're setting up the Inhumans but I don't think going to space will be something that could work and I don't know how would Starlord came to earth and then leave just like that

They could make this work, maybe Coulson and his team receive a message from the Guardians/Star-Lord about an impending threat coming to Earth. Downey and Renner are absolute musts though, I imagine Renner could have time to shoot a couple scenes for a few episodes but Downey could make for a killer cameo at some point (if they market it right, their ratings could finally receive the boost that they deserve). Anyhow, I'm loving the season thus far. Happy to see Coulson's got a rougher edge to him this season than he had in the first season where he often times came across as the sitcom-dad or something.

I'd rather see Renner cameo, that would probably be the most likely to happen. I wouldn't mind seeing Frank Grillo either.

It's interesting Renner appeared in an two part episode of Louie as young Louie's pot dealer, but not SHIELD.

He was hilarious.

@Mr!artinMarvel... PLEASE give us that most shameless of cameos. My hat is right along my sense of humor. I would lose my mind laughing at all the folks crying about it, even though that would fit right in with the show's humor. It's like sometimes they get so close to breaking that forth wall.

Jaimie Alexander got on the show basically by expressing an interest. She got a call from the producers of AOS not long afterward.

I wouldn't be surprised if this offhand comment gets Pratt a guest spot -- but it would likely have to be completely off-planet to fit into Marvel Studios / James Gunn's plans.
