The release of Ghostbusters Afterlife may have been delayed, but LEGO is set to debut their take on the iconic 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance this month. The ECTO-1 arrives in stores on November 15th, and it's crammed full of authentic details, including a range of tools and features needed by any Ghostbuster to track and catch ghoulish enemies!

With a moving ghost sniffer activated by the wheels, an extendable rear gunner seat, working steering wheel and a whole host of other paranormal detection equipment on the detailed roof rack, there's plenty for fans to explore here.

LEGO also describes it as the most detailed LEGO brick recreation of the car ever produced, and based on the images revealed so far, it's hard to disagree.

The set's designer Michael Psiaki had the following to say about working on this iconic vehicle:

"I love creating LEGO vehicles and having previously designed the LEGO James Bond Aston Martin DB5, I loved the challenge of working on the ECTO-1," he explains. "This is the largest and most detailed version of this car that we have ever created, It is crammed full of authentic features and easter eggs, that I’m excited for builders to discover as they put this model together."

The LEGO Ghostbusters ECTO-1 contains 2,352 pieces and measures over 8" (22.5cm) high, 18" (47cm) long and 6" (16.5cm) wide. You can pre-order it now from LEGO.com.

Nice. Will be good to get a good Ghost Busters movie.

The 2016 cast are the ones who started this bs audience blaming that has been going on for 4 years, their movie sucked and they earned their failure

@dracula - Audience blaming has always been a thing. Studios blame audiences as a way to excuse them not giving POC's roles all of the time.

I'm not sure how long I would keep it as a permanent set and Ecto-1 is something I also would try to build myself too.

Still, this set looks really good. Already see lots of details that make me think how sophisticated these sets are.
