Marvel held a movie panel last week at Comic-Con in which the company updated fans on several movie projects.

Kevin Feige, Avi Arad and the directors of Ant-Man, The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man shared some details of their films. (for Jon Favreau's Iron Man news, see previous entries).

Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead) said Ant-Man's script is in the very early stages but he already plans to use both Henry Pym and Scott Lang and will do the film as an action/adventure and not as a spoof.

"Obviously it will be a real special effects bonanza and that is what
attracted me to it," said Wright. "The idea of Ant-Man is basically – how
kick ass it would be small."

However, the film won't have any super-villains or Avengers.

Hulk 2 director Louis Leterrier said that he'll focus on Bruce Banner's hatred for the monster inside him and would borrow its tone from the Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno TV show. The focus will also be more on Hulk as the hero than Ang Lee's film was.

"This is Marvel's horror movie," said Leterrier "It's Frankenstein meets Jekyll and Hyde with a little bit of Edward Scissorhands."

Look for the return of General Ross, he added. Filming starts April 2007.
