More Speculation on Olivia Munn's Role in Iron Man 2

FIRST.

the iron maiden role has been forgotten about i think. i really wonder whats going on with her role

I wouldn't mind if she was the iron madien, but the scarlet witch seems like something that if introuduced in Iron Man 2, will probably be carried over into the Avengers, and i don't think she has the acting chops for such a big role.

She is hot as [frick] though.

Cool. I would be happy with her being a voice or eye candy in I.M.2

Either way, it's a nod towards geeks world wide and a good oportunity for her to get more exposure. With any luck, her Playboy spread won't be too far away!

Olivia Munn is worthless. Her stupidity outweighs her hotness. I was sad to hear that she would be Iron Maiden since I did read the comics. I truly hope they cast her as some anonymous voice, like they did with JARVIS and don't cast her as anything major.

She's not even talented enough to voice a dog's inner monlogue.

I'm thinking Fox has the film rights to the Scarlet Witch.Even though she has been an Avengers character for a long time, she is a mutant and made her original appearance in X-Men.Even though he wasn't named, there was a character in the Wolverine movie who many say is Quicksilver.That leads me to believe they do have the rights.

This is something I've always wondered.When someone buys the film rights to a comic book property, what does that entail?Do you get all characters that appear in that book or do you get characters who were created for/made their debut in that book?Do you have to buy the rights to individual characters you want to use, but debuted in other properties?

For instance, when Fox purchased the X-Men, did they get every character who is or has been in the title or is associated with it?Did the New Mutants and all derivative teams come along with it?I'm thinking it must work like that, and if there's a X-character who didn't originally appear in the X-Men title, maybe you buy that character separately.Fox owns Wolverine, yet he was created in The Incredible Hulk and they don't have the rights to the Hulk.Same goes for Sabertooth, who appeared in Iron Fist not X-Men.Also Mystique and Rogue made their debut in Ms Marvel and The Avengers.

If anyone has any insight on this, please educate me, or point me to a website.

They haven't showed anything in the trailers about her. As Iron Maiden, War Machine's voice, or anything. How do we even know she's in Iron Man 2?
That may seem like a naive thing to say, but come on....

She definitley aint Scarlet Witch. That would take the movie in a total different direction.

I think the questions that come up with regard to who owns which character rights is pretty interesting. With regard to the characters in question, I would imagine that Wanda and Pietro would still be a property that Marvel could use as long as it is not expressly stated that they are Magneto's children. With regard to a character like Wolverine, I would say that FOX probably had to purchase his rights separately from the X-Men just because he is such a major character in the overall Marvel U. I'm not really basing this off any legal knowledge, just what makes sense to my personal line of logic. I could certainly be wrong.

What I'm more interested in finding out is how Marvel can go about reaquiring the film rights to the characters they have farmed out. Personally, if you're going to re-boot Spider-Man I would rather see it in Marvel's hands. The same goes for the FF, Daredevel, the Punisher, and the X-Men. I want to see what the new House of Ideas can do with the properties that they made great.

I really don't see how casting Munn in any role in IM2 would ruin the franchise. She is one in amidst an already stellar cast. I am not concerned in the least bit.

I mean, i would love to see Olivia Munn in tight red spandex, but hey, i doubt she really is the scarlet witch, but i would still give her a poke

i don't know man! originally she was an x-men villain. she's probably spent the most time with the Avengers, but she definately has heavy ties to the x-men universe. i could see her being Fox's or Marvel's. i guess it just depends on whether or not Fox owns the rights to ALL mutant characters or not. it would be worth looking into, if i knew how, lol.

i dont care if shes a shit actor, fav wouldve got the best out of her. she's funny, hot and in iron man 2: the perfect woman in my book :P

i have seen her in one movie and she was ok in it it was a horror movie called insanitarum she was not the star but her part was kind of big

The point still stands - Olivia Munn does not have what it takes to be Wanda, and from what I've seen from other sites, it doesn't seem like anyone else buys this news. So all in all, it sounds like BS rumors, like the usual thing.

I've said from the very start that she could be WANDA!!!! (West Coast Avengers connection and good very good friends to TONY too!)

Just makes sense!
