I do remember for the most part what your article was about.

I would agree that there are not enough good black characters in comic books however I was not satisfied with your approach to the subject. You pointed out problems with comics but you should have taken the opportunity to propose a good solution.

Lashing out at Stanley wont resolve the problem. Like you said he wasn't probably exposed to black people until maybe his college years, however he had a dream of a boy like him with super powers who could become an amazing superhero and I LOVE HIM FOR THAT.

Help yourself and create your own black comic book characters and show the rest of the world how a black character should be portrayed. Invite some of your black friends to become comic book writers to write stories about black comic book characters the way it should be done with different social backgrounds, all coming from different black countries around the world.

I invite you to do so.
