As part of a massive free update, nWay's Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid introduced a new story mode today, which will reimagine Boom! Studios' critically-acclaimed Shattered Grid event and add twists and turns as Lord Drakkon embarks on his evil crusade across space and time to destroy every Power Ranger ever.

The new story mode will feature original story and combat voiceovers from the two most iconic actors in Power Rangers lore: Austin St. John (Jason Lee Scott/Red Ranger) and Jason David Frank (Tommy Oliver/Green Ranger/Lord Drakkon). The original Zordon, David J. Fielding, will reprise his role as well. Kerrigan Mahan (Goldar) and Meghan Camarena (Kimberly Hart/Pink Ranger/Ranger Slayer) round out the voice cast.

The new update also adds three new characters: Dragon Armor Trini, Udonna, and the Cenozoic Blue Ranger; and four new battle arenas: Corinth, Planet Earth: Cenozoic Era, Command Center (Malfunctioning), and Lord Drakkon's Throne Room (Flashback). However, the last two are only accessible via the story mode.

The Standard Edition is available for $19.99 and the Digital Collector's Edition is available for $39.99. The latter edition includes the digital game Download, the Green Ranger V2 skin, a Season One Pass, a Lord Drakkon Evo II skin, and the Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger skin.
