Boldly Go Where No Man Has Gone Before With This Cool New IMAX Poster For STAR TREK BEYOND

The posters for Star Trek Beyond have been pretty great so far and now we have another awesome one for you to add to your collection. IMAX has officially released their exclusive one-sheet for the upcoming Justin Lin-directed film and while it seems fairly simplistic at first sight, the ship's seemingly fast and furious velocity would suggest that we may want to strap ourselves in tightly next weekend as the USS Enterprise crew takes us on the ride of our lives! Check out their one-of-a-kind poster below:

After stopping off at Starbase Earhart, a remote outpost on the fringes of Federation space, the USS Enterprise, halfway into their five-year mission, is destroyed by a powerful, unstoppable wave of unknown aliens. With the crew stranded on a unknown planet and with no apparent means of rescue, they find themselves in conflict with a new ruthless enemy who has a well-earned hatred of the Federation and what it stands for.

Star Trek Beyond will feature:
Director: Justin Lin
Chris Pine as Captain James T. Kirk
Zachary Quinto as Commander Spock
Zoe Saldana as LT Nyota Uhura
Karl Urban as LCDR Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy
Simon Pegg as LCDR Montgomery "Scotty" Scott
John Cho as LT Hikaru Sulu
Anton Yelchin as Ensign Pavel Chekov
Idris Elba as Krall
Sofia Boutella as Jaylah
Joe Taslim in an undisclosed role
Lydia Wilson in an undisclosed role
Harpreet Sandhu in an undisclosed role
Deep Roy as Keenser
Shohreh Aghdaashloo as High Command of the Federation

Star Trek Beyond boldly goes where no man has gone before July 22

@CaptDeadpool - I think the posters are both pretty slick. I just have an issue with the size of "Star Trek" being dwarfed by the title.

Star Trek is the importance. The title is secondary. Not too sure why they decided the opposite?

@BigDaddyJinx - yeah I hadn't really noticed that but you are right. The subtitle shouldn't be the main focus.

@CaptDeadpool - I notice these obscure things more often than not. I'm very analytical that way.

STAR TREK Beyond.

That's how they should be. They did the same thing with Into Darkness and I hated it then too.

@BigDaddyJinx - it's like a M Nigh Shamalan movie poster. If you look at his first five or so movies, his name gets bigger and bigger until it's equal to the name of the film. Now that he's had quite a few bombs in a row it's back to it's appropriate size

@CaptDeadpool - Humiliation will reflect in size. Yep.

My Spidey sense is telling me this is going to be floppier than a limp wristed Sulu.
