SWEET!!! Not really a TREK fan (more STAR WARS) but can't wait for this! I kinda liked all the movies, just wasn't to hot on the series though Enterprise was entertaining! I hope it has sh*t loads of special effects and action!!! ; ) i see in the future = PREDATOR VS STAR TREK hehehehe!!! Ok, maybe not but how cool would that be!!!

I just thought,, if this does really well, ol' LUCAS might change his mind and do STAR WARS parts 7 - 9! Man, everyone's still around, he should do 'em and stop teasing all of us saying his doing them, then not, then is etc! Oh anyone heard of this so called STAR WARS live series yet to happen still???? Oh better say, STAR TREK look's AWESOME!!! : )

I was never a trenk fan, actualy i never even watched a show or movie, but this one i agree, looks decent, but im afraid to watch and get lost, is this a prequel ? do i need to know some things to understand this one ? or its the begin of all so its ok for non-fans too ?

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little for saying that. I hate myself for even thinking I can like anything Star Trek.

I'm a little nervous as a Trek fan. It seems too action/explosion/J.J. Abrhams for me. Thats not what Trek is supposed to be. I'm still excited about it, just a little nervous they're going to turn it into something its not.

i have never in my life been a Star Trek fan, its always been about Star Wars to me, but this movie actually looks really good. I just wanna see Zack Quinto don the pointy ears as Spock b/c we all know him as Syler. I think we should dub him a duel nick name for being both characters. here are both im running with. Sylock, or Spockler. any takers? let me know lol

I do think this looks good..but Kirk just seems a bit typically teeny hero cliche duuuuuuude! I know its sposed to be the origin of these characters but i wish they had of cast just a bit older

Not a fan of the casting choices really..Yea, not really at all. There's a couple decent ones, but for the most part, meh.

HOWEVER, Nimoy is in it. PLUS 34978563490856245 pts right there. It looks freakin' amazing, plus another 340640576 pts, AAAAAAAAND it's freakin' Star Trek (yea, i'm an UBER Star Trek GEEEEEEEEK! I just don't look like one, hehehe) and as much as I never liked the Original Series, this is going to be freakin' cool. PLUS, Nimoy is in it!!! Woot!

I want to see it MORE when the cuts are so fast it could be the smurfs for all i know. or one of the bourne movies. CHop chop chicka guitar guitar DRUMS! closing doors electronic sounds... Im totally siked about this movie though.

I wouldnt give me that much credit Sinister... i get lucky , thats it. Ha, but really my only bitch bout this wovie from the beginning was the age factor.
RoR's point is my own as well. I really want to see adults be lifted back into the place of importance that lets say the movie 300 did. Adults older than myself because i am sick of the needs of the youth. Other than that Spyler's gonna rock! Go NIMOY! and her4oes is on tonight!

Hey Grif they will it is Called StarGate Universe. But when you read up about it, it sounds like StarTrek Voyager. It comes out fall 2009.

I do not like Star Trek.

I will see this movie.

It looks better than Watchmen.

This movie may change my mind about Star Trek.

This movie will not change my mind about a squidless Watchmen.

Star Trek did something right. Spock is in it unlike the squid in a certain movie coming out in March.

Calamari (especially fried) is delicious and possibly my favorite food. HOWEVER, I'm not going to boycott Romano's because it ain't on the menu today. That's my favorite restaurant and I'm still going to like it regardless. So one time they dont have Calamari, fine. I'll just go with the Scallops they have in my Calamari's place today. Variety son, variety.

i hope dr mcoy has a hint of a southern accent and at least once says "are you out of your vulcan mind" to spock...but then again by the looks of this movie hel say "spock", "are you like totally trippin out of your naaaarly alien head or what duuude"
