Former DOCTOR WHO Matt Smith Joins TERMINATOR: GENESIS

Sci-fi geek overload imminent! Deadline report that our previous Doctor Who, Matt Smith, has joined Paramount's new Terminator flick. They don't say who he'll play, but apparently it'll be a "major role" that'll be expanded upon in future films.

The Doctor VS. Terminator? According to Deadline, Paramount and Alan Taylor have chosen their "final major" cast member for Terminator: Genesis, and it's none other than our last Doctor (as in, Doctor Who), Matt Smith. Unfortunately no details are provided as to which character he'll play, but the site reckons it'll be "a major role that will grow in the second and third films." Smith joins Emilia Clarke (Sara Connor), Jason Clarke (John Connor), Jai Courtney (Kyle Reese), Day Okeniyi (Danny Dyson), and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who will reprise the role of the titular cyborg. The Terminator will be back in theaters on July 1, 2015.

MRSID-yeah smith was the most chidlike of the dcotors, everything made him curious but he could get dark and merciless too,also he had the best speeches of all the doctors imo!!

Not sold on Jai Courtney.

He resembles Sam Worthington way too much to be playing Kyle F*&%-ing Reese! It seems like a generic gripe, but the last movie bombed and it had Worthington as that character he was in that "McG directed Terminater movie that bombed". Marcus I believe was the character's name.

They should have left the Terminator alone after the second film. T3 was garbage and Salvation was just "meh".

i was not sure about this movie but with matt smith I am watching it even if the movie sucks matt smith was my first and favorit doctor I remember when I first set my eyes on doctor who in 2010 I was watching star trek the next generation it ended I never saw doctor who before and thought it was a medical show so I changed it then a few minutes later I pressed the return button on acident and I saw something I will never forget I saw a strange man over stone henge with romans aeound him and space ships above him as he told them to let somebody else try first and at that moment I was hooked and I wanted to know more about this so I looked up the doctor and learned of the doctors and there enemys and I new this was something special and now I own all modern doctor who seasons on my labtop and I am waiting for the fist 4 seasons to be on blu ray before I start getting the blu rays
