SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME - Nick Fury And Maria Hill Meet With Black Suit Spidey In Another Official Image

A second official image from Spider-Man: Far From Home has been released, and it features Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), Peter Parker (Tom Holland), and a mysterious device.

Could a new Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer be incoming? It would certainly make sense for it to swing online to coincide with Avengers: Endgame, but, in the meantime, we have our first official look at Nick Fury and Maria Hill meeting with the wall-crawler.

As you can see below, Peter Parker is decked out in his new black costume. It's not quite the alien suit from the comics, but it does appear to be a stealth uniform of some sort which the young hero will be using during his adventure across Europe. It also seems to pay homage to the Spider-Noir character.

What's really interesting about this image is the mysterious looking device on the table between them. Could that have something to do with Mysterio, or is it the piece of Stark tech the rumour mill is pointing to being the Homecoming sequel's MacGuffin?

Time will tell on that front, but Sony Pictures clearly isn't shying away from letting fans know that characters who perished in Avengers: Infinity War will somehow return in this adventure.

What do you guys think about what we see here? Let us know in the comments section below.

@knocturnalzen10 - I thought they wouldn't have Goose do it because that's what everybody thought would happen as soon as they found out both the cat and Fury would be in the film.

@Nebula - yea , it was predicted so quickly but they went thru with it and soured his conversation with cap in TWS :( that was an important piece to that film.

@knocturnalzen10 - any conversation about nick fury's eye in all the films prior to Capt Marvel is a joke now. disney has to cool it on retconning shit and turning big reveals into jokes (yes i'm looking at you too star wars).

I liked the small scale feeling of Homecoming. It felt personal. This one is obviously upping the stakes a lot, but I hope the quality goes with it.

I can never look at Fury the same after Captain Marvel.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939

Phil Coulson in skrull form should’ve been the one to do it.

A cat scratching his eye was very underwhelming.

I can't take Fury seriously now! Man that Captain Marvel movie didn't bring anything good to the MCU. Rather [frick]ed up Fury's character, didn't have a good Coulson moment, wasted Ronan again and now we're stuck with Brie for the next 10 years.

@LordCipher - Talos was great and it didn't have any bad CGI moments unlike the last couple of MCU movies. That's all the good things I can think of right now. What did you like about that movie?
