SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME - The Vulture And Liz Allan May Not Be Returning For The Sequel

After this morning's trailer drop, the anticipation-meter for Spider-Man: Far From Home has skyrocketed. Who knows what surprises Feige and Watts have in store for the MCU first post-Endgame installment...

When Spider-Man: Homecoming was initially released, one of the biggest surprises was the quality of its villain. Not only did Keaton pull off a menacing and often personal performance, but the way the filmmakers twisted his origin was fresh and refreshing as well. Fans may be disappointed with his possible involvement with the sequel.

Following Far From Home's second trailer, in addition to the start of domestic ticket sales, Fandango posted an interview with director Jon Watts, in which the filmmaker indicated that Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton) and his daughter Liz (Laura Harrier) will not be returning for the July release.

We don't get to see Laura Harrier or Michael Keaton's characters in the trailer. Are they in the film?

Jon Watts: Keaton is not in the movie, and Laura is not in the movie.

Yes, we should take the director's word, but in a world in which unexpected cameos and reveals are some of Marvel's greatest assets, should we? Marvel has gotten famous for misdirection, does that extend to interviews as well?

A report from Deadline indictated that the pair would be back for the sequel. But one thing is for sure, all our questions will be answered when Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters in July.

I’m guessing Michael Mando isn’t in FFH either.

This article: the sky is blue. But is it really though? Who can say? We’ll have to wait and see I guess.
