With Spider-Man: Homecoming just weeks away, more merchandise for the movie has found its way online and the latest is Hot Toys' Spider-Man action figure. Many of these images first surfaced last week, but also below are some brand new shots of the head sculpt for Tom Holland's Peter Parker.

The figure features a newly developed masked head sculpt with four pairs of interchangeable eye pieces to create numerous Spider-Man’s expressions, another interchangeable head sculpt featuring likeness of Tom Holland, a newly developed body and Spider-Man suit in meticulous tailoring and great details, a pair of magnetically attachable web-wings, a variety of spider-web shooting effect parts and accessories as well as a dynamic figure stand. It goes without saying that this pricey figure is amazing!

What do you guys think of this Spider-Man: Homecoming toy? Let us know in the comments section.

I know it's because of the suit's mechanical nature, but Iron Man's Hot Toys make almost every other character's pale in comparison.

@OedipusGrex - Yep. Try as they might, they just can't quite nail the cloth (especially skintight) suits.

@Spock0Clock -

I know, right? I mean, look at this one, for example. Sure, the quality might be as top-notch as one can expect from the Hot Toys brand, but the bagginess of the cloth around the joints, as well as the thread's thickness ratio compared to the figure's stature just makes the whole thing look a bit "off".

And it's a real shame, considering the amount of work that's been done for each and every one of those figures.

@OedipusGrex - That Iron Man is gorgeous holy damn.

@OedipusGrex - You obviously aren't old enough to remember the old Mego Superheros. This is almost like having the real costumed actor in small scale by comparison! I mean, that head is just creepy realistic!

@Spock0Clock - Yeah I have the ASM V1 and it's great, but the annoying double knee joints make the legs look odd, one day maybe they will work out how to make a human knee without the need of 2 joints. And around the crotch the fabric likes to pinch.

@OedipusGrex - After placing my order over a year I received the Iron Man Mark XLVI just last week. It was worth the wait (seriously jaw dropping). The LED lights give life to the figure, and the points of articulation are stunning. It was pricey... but my goodness, no regrets whatsoever.

@Balls -

Welp, I'm officially jealous. The one I wanted to order (but still find ridiculously expensive) was MK-XLIV, the Hulkbuster. Half a grand is too much to spend on a figure, no matter how beautiful it is, but oh man... That thing is simply out of this world, with its plates and layers and worn out dents and whatnot.

@captquirk - I thought of The old Megos as well. They've come a long way with figures. That headshot looks damn near photo-realistic.

@OedipusGrex - I know that this is totally off topic (well not really) and I know that it might seem impossible, but if Samurai Jack and Young Justice could come back then there's a slight possibility that this could come back too. So if you're a fan of this show sign this because if it doesn't come back we lose nothing but if Marvel hears us and realizes that there is a demand for this product we might end up with a new season of the best Spider-Man cartoon.
this is a fresh / just made petition so lets make this a thing, lets make marvel hear our crave for a new seaason, lets bring spectacular spider-man back!

@PirateCipher - I agree, those titles were on their way to rivaling, almost the DC animations, Bruce Timm series. Then Disney had to go and make them more like the MCU. Shame.

CaptainElrond - 6/19/2017, 2:31 AM
@Matman3099 - Exactly, i dont watch the cartoons, to be like the films. Its not right and lazy. Starlords voice sucked in the gotg cartoon. And they didint even bother to redesigned grandmaster and the inhumans to suit the universe.

@IcemanX - Its lazy, maybe they think people will start reading the comics because they think its based off the mcu. But they dont seem realize, they will like no matter what it looks like.

@Matman3099 - Blame Jeph Loeb. He bacame head of Marvel Television, messed with the second half of the EMH season 2, then cancelled it, brought in Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon, Hulk and the Agents of SMASH and then replaced EMH with Assemble.
