SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME "Black & Gold Suit" Hot Toys Figure Reveals Spidey's Spectacular New Powers

Hot Toys has unveiled a new figure for Spider-Man: No Way Home, offering a much better look at the design of the "Black & Gold Suit," including Peter Parker's newfound ability to wield...magic webs?!

More merchandise has been revealed for Spider-Man: No Way Home, this time offering a detailed look at the "Black & Gold Suit" Peter Parker will don in the highly anticipated threequel.

Thanks to Hot Toys, we learn a little more about what to expect from the movie, and yes, that includes the web-slinger using magic, likely thanks to his new partnership with Doctor Strange.

The official description doesn't give us much to go on, but does note that the figure comes with "a selection of highly detailed accessories including a gauntlet [and] mystic spider-web effects." We see the former on the wall-crawler's wrist here, and it seems like that's going to come in handy during the final battle, especially if his webs can trap the villains from another world.

That's speculation on our part, of course, and we still know very little about the plot of Spider-Man: No Way Home. This definitely looks like it might be some sort of hi-tech suit, but those theories that it's Peter's regular costume turned inside out are getting harder to argue with.

What could lead to Spidey doing that remains to be seen, but this is certainly a unique take on the character and one that should help him stand out from the "Variant" Peter Parkers we hope to see.

Regardless, with this latest reveal and the Loki finale now on Disney+, we can't help but think the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home is imminent. You'll have to keep checking back here for updates, though!

looks like this suit was made by Wong and the team

@solskulldeath - yeah, especially those gauntlets

@solskulldeath - looks like this suit was made by a toy company. Thus doesn't look like a eeal movie suit, it looks like and alternate toy that never would actually appear in the movie. The fact that it will feature in the movie concerns me.

I'll give it credit that it looks a lot better when I can see the full suit like that. Even seeing the almost magic webs looks cool too, but between the two new it is still my least favorite and might even be my least favorite out of all of his MCU suits.

I will never be over the fact that Disneys need to sell toys had us get rid of literal perfection.

@Mrcool210 - To think that that suit to which you refer as literal perfection was criticized for exactly the same thing in your post.

New things always go thru this, and then they grow on us. Look how fondly we look back at McGuire's suit, when I clearly remember everyone and their mother blasting it for those silver webs.

In 2 years' time, you'll go all 1984 and say, "I love this suit." Disney will make sure of it.

@BlackBeltJones - yeah. I also don't like how basically everything is taken from miles at this point. I mean, change the webs to red and this is the miles suit. So why should we care if they ever do bring miles into the mcu? He'd have to be completely different or it'll just highlight how much they took from him for this peter.

@BlackBeltJones - I need to go back to my 2016 self and lower his expectations, make sure he doesn't end up being a Stanley.
GhostDog

@Origame - exactly. They’re handicapping another great character by doing all of this.

They did a fine job kicking off a young teen Peter in HC but it’s been downhill ever since..

When they first got the rights, I actually thought an adult Peter would’ve been a cool idea. One where he mentors a young Miles.

It does kinda look like its turned inside out, but I see no reason why he would do that.

The Black and Gold looks cool either way, even when it's probably just to sell toys.

God what the hell are they trying to do to MCU spidey. They might as well just make him Iron Man at this point.

@McMurdo - I think the Iron Spider came from the comics although I haven't read any comics regularly since the 70's so I can't say for sure. I don't object to the Starkification of Spidey.
