SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Images Seemingly LEAK Online Showing Some Familiar Faces From The Past

Late last night, a rough cut of the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer leaked online, and that's now been followed by a handful of images highlighting some villains we're sure you'll immediately recognize!

Sony Pictures is still expected to release the first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home later today, though fans are optimistic that it might arrive a little sooner than expected after last night's leak.

Despite that footage clearly being from an unfinished cut of the trailer (meaning the final version could be quite a bit different), it left us all with plenty to talk about and confirmed quite a few big rumors. It may have also validated some plot leaks on Reddit, though it does appear this sneak peek has been floating around in certain circles for a while now based on recent "scoops" that were shared online.

Now, one leak has been followed by another as a handful of images from the Spider-Man: Far From Home sequel have also been revealed this morning.

We're not going to share them here, but you can view them on Twitter. As you'll see, the shots feature Willem Dafoe's Norman Osborn (with the tiniest glimpse of his Green Goblin costume), Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus minus his arms (it seems they've yet to be added with VFX), and Jamie Foxx's Electro sporting a new look.

Just like the actor promised when he was cast, he's not blue, and is instead wearing a green and yellow jacket that appears to be paying homage to his classic comic book costume. We'd hope that's not his final look, but that goofy, albeit iconic, suit from the comics probably wouldn't work in live-action.

You'll definitely want to keep checking back here today as we're bound to have more on this film soon.

I have so many mixed feelings about this movie. I still feel like this one should've been a grounded flick but on the other hand I am so hyped to see all these people return.

Still does nothing for me. I'd be much more excited if they did new versions with new actors.

Honestly, the only past actor I'd like to see revise a role would be Joe Manganiello as Agent Venom. The rest I can do without for various reasons.

I wonder how they will ever introduce these villains now in the future? How do we get an MCU Norman Osborn after this?

@Vulture - I heard a theory/ leak that meeting Norman in this would scare Peter into trying to find out more about who his universe’s Norman is in a future film

@Vulture - that has been my problem from the start
When he first Meets the MCU Norman, he knows he becomes the Goblin.
Same for Max and Otto

Two things getting dropped today; this trailer and the person who leaked it

I'm not sure if what this site is saying is true or not, but if it is true Disney wants part of Sony for Spider-Man, than that would be crazy.

After everything with Fox, I just can't see it being possible that the government wouldn't do everything they could to stop this purchase.

The reason being Disney would than be very much a monopoly.

@BlackIceJoe - Disney ain't gonna buy the righs back. They get them for free if Sony is ever sold to another company. Besides, they make enough money with the current deal (there is a reason why Spidey wears so many suits).

@BlackIceJoe - Disney still wouldn't be a monopoly if they bought part of Sony, or the Spidey rights back. He'll, they could buy Sony entirely and still not be a monopoly.

To be a monopoly they would need to be the only company making movies. There are still plenty of other film companies that can make movies that aren't owned by Disney.

@CorndogBurglar - Well I know what you're saying but that's not technically true.

A company is said to have monopoly power if it holds more than 25% of the market share which is counter-intuitive but it is the economic definition.

So if you could show that 25% of all theatrical releases were Disney films would that be an argument that they have a monopoly? I'm not sure but I think somebody could make a case for it

Defoe? Amazing.
Molina? The GOAT
Jaimie Foxx? Why though.

@TheManWithoutFear - really would have rather gotten Lizard

@dracula - Nah, the Lizard was lame too. Actually, TASM movies didn't have a single villain that would get me excited to see them return (Although, I'm not excited about the Raimi villains either, since I never wanted a live-action Spider-Verse, but still...).
