A somewhat-mostly-accurate educational parody film by Max Landis, Produced by Bryan Basham @bryan_basham

Starring Elden Henson, Elijah Wood, Mandy Moore, Morgan Krantz and many more.

I'm not drunk in the video, I only get about three cups in. The original rant was 45 minutes long, so of course we had to cut a bunch of stuff out for time, and because it was just too stupid. Like for instance the part where Pa Kent dies of a heart attack and literally GOES TO HEAVEN. AND SEES SUPERMAN.

If I saw this video, I might nerd rage out so hard. But luckily I made it, so I'm pretty happy. Really I'd hope people just are with me, and happy that Guy Gardner and Bloodwynd get to be in a movie.

--Love it, or Hate it, you should at least get a good laugh!

I made it thru 7 minutes of the most disappointing attempt to call out one of Superman's most famous comics. Hate on DC all you want but in no way is this funny, clever, or remotely entertaining. All the swearing in the world can't make this parody relevant. He is probably a Nick Cage/Ghost Rider fan.

Apparently this guy's super power is being an unfunny douchewank.

How is a sweaty geek stating the obvious funny? Ooh, he's "drinking", he's cool AND irreverant.

5 seconds of Kevin Smith talking about trying to write a Superman movie script was funnier than this.

The homemade Avengers trailer parody was funnier than this.

I'm not sure what my respect level for Mandy Moore or Elijah Wood was before, but it is lower now.

It took him 17 minutes to make the points that Doomsday may have been a Hulk rip-off and comic book characters come back from the dead sometimes. Bravo.

I saw this a couple of days ago and I thought it was pretty funny, but what's up with all the hate on DC?

yeah he comes of as a class A douche, plus He sounds like someone who doesnt really understand the character he's ripping on. Love him or hate him superman is responsible for ALL superhero books to follow, he's the reason the superhero genre exists, also the thing that people were amazed about supes when he came out wasnt that he lifted a car above his head. it was that he was jumping in and helping out the little guy, the guy who was being wronged by society on both ends, that he'd jump in and aggressively beat an abusive husband for hurting his wife, forcibly tear down a slum after the slum lords wouldnt repair it forcing them to build anew. DC didnt start struggling with selling superman comics till the 80's. also hes wrong about how the people in the superman summits came up with the idea for killing him off. they killed him off because their original idea of marrying clark and lois was postponed because of the lois and clark show was coming out and WB didnt want to confuse people who were watching the shoe and reading the comics, so because of this DC got evryone back together and when asked what to do instead one of the writers joked "lets kill him off" and they ran with it. so the death of storyline was a spur of the moment thing that became one of DC'S highest grossing storylines. all he's doing is ignorantly ranting and hating on a character responsible for the genre he supposedly loves
