Entertainment weekly is exclusively reporting that Teri Hatcher will play Lois Lane's mother in an upcoming 8th episode titled "Abandoned". In the episode Lois will discover video tapes of her dead mother. As I'm sure most of you are aware Teri Hatcher's big break came from playing Lois Lane on The Adventures of Lois and Clark. This is a very big nod to the fan boys and further proof that they are pulling out all the stops for the 10th and final season.

Hmm. Teri Hatcher was born in 1964 and Erica Durance in 1978. That means that Teri was 14 when she gave birth to Erica. Kind of creepy.

"V" is even worse. Morena Baccarin, who plays Anna, was born in 1979 and Laura Vandervoort, who plays Anna's daughter, Lisa, was born in 1984, which means that Morena was only five when she gave birth to Laura. Wow, that's even creepier.

Oh, wait a sec, am I crossing reality and fantasy again? Gotta stop doing that.

I'm gonna take an educated guess that Hatcher will be whatever age she is NOW, but the video is like... what... 8+ years old or something? Which if we take Ed's example: would make her 22 when she had Lois? Even though isn't Erica suppose to be not her age (32?)

Great find superdog! :) I loved watching The Adventures of Lois and Clark when I was younger and it's great that they're using Hatcher in a role like this. I just hope that her and Durance have some sort of lesbian sex scene...oh, sorry - that's just a part of the Smallville XXX parody I'm currently "writing" - here's Hatcher's audition. :D

Come on guys, read the article. They are not going to be on screen together, in all probability. Lois is finding a tape of her mother which could be twenty years old for all we know.

But while I love Smallville they have done worse than this age difference if they were to appear together. Anyone believe Stargirl was in high school last year? She had to be late twenties.

People, Teri fits the role cause she's simply playing Lois' mom in video tapes that Lois discovers, obviously Lois' mom died when she was a child so the age doesn't matter.

It's like the writers watched my video on how they could not make me regret watching Smallville for the past nine years and make 10 decent. They even made Clark FIGHT Zod instead of having someone fly him to the sunny side of Mars or jumping into an exploding building and letting Jimmy kill the "human" side of what should have been an all alien Davis. Wow.

Great one, Superdog! This is indeed a good homage. It is soooo easy to make Hatcher look old enough to be Lois' mother. Not to mention she's not really as young as she looks anyway. Do you know that she's been in TV since MacGyver? Heck, do you know MacGyver at all? LMFAO!
