The Daily Star is reporting that Andrew Garfield has been offered a multi-million dollar deal to play our favorite web crawler up until the year 2020! A senior source at Columbia Pictures says that "Andrew is already contracted to make two more films for release in 2015 and 2016." 2015? Could that be another Spidey flick or a cameo in another CBM we know that comes out that year? Anyway the senior source went on to say that "We are looking to tie him to the role for as many as a further four pictures given the huge success the franchise is enjoying [...] The part is pretty much his for as long as he chooses.” The report goes on to say that Garfield is even being offered a box office profit-sharing deal to play Spidey for another six years. This news has certainly come to my surprise. I am excited for it, are you? Sound off below!

He's the definitive Spidey imo. Howver, I don't like his portrayal of Peter Parker. Good news I guess.

I liked his performence in the first one, it was weird but unique, in ASM2 however, it was treading into douchebag territory. I'm okay with more from him I guess.

While I love his incarnation, i think they should spend more time on his genius. Like show him making things more.

Well, that makes sense. This should be enough to allow him to stay for the first four Spider-Man films with an appearance in Venom and Sinister Six.

In my opinion, Andrew Garfield is not only the best Spider-Man/Peter Parker, but next to RDJ the best ACTOR playing a superhero film right now. He was literally tailor made to play Spider-Man.

In other news, my TASM2 movie poster just arrived and I'm pumped to get this bad boy hanged on my media room walls.

Or could it mean that he's only signed to appear as (two cameos) and (two other spider-man films)

-Sinister Six
-Venom
-TASM4
-TASM5

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 IS one of the best superheroes film ever. I don't really care what the critics say, I feel that I've watched two of the best superhero films of all time this year, but even then I feel that TASM2 comes on top.

The only thing that's puzzling me here is the "2015" film? Could it be the Sinister 6 film??? I know beyone has Avengers 2 in their minds but that not happening. However, I would be startled and in awe if it did. But for now I'm not counting that option. lol Hmm...what could it be???

Hate to burst your conspiratorial bubbles, but the exec means Garfield is contracted to "MAKE" two movies in 2015 (ASM3) and 2016 (ASM4? Sinister Six?). He's not talking about release dates but filming years.
