How true Bro! Shouldn't even have been made. Let's hope Snyder next year doesn't disappoint, though after Sucker Punch I'm kind of worried.
Seriously, why the hell wasn't this in the movie? I also heard him say early on it was intended to have him fight Mongol on War World before he came back to earth. =O
Singer, Ratner and Shumacher all just suck man. Seriously.

@TheLight and naterator- Yeah believe it or not...even I was hoping it'd be the ACTUAL scene...I needed something to help pass the time with. ;P

But seriously I was interested more in the ACTUAL scene, not this stills crap. And I agree with some here...the movie totally sucked balls. But had they kept these scenes in the movie, the movie might not have been such a COMPLETE failure. I mean...these scenes looked cool and interesting and better than the actual film. They shouldn't have removed these. If it was an issue of time they could have easily just removed about 90% of the other useless scenes in the movie...like the lame nearly 1/2 hour rooftop-scene/Donner-montage they did...or they could have cut that other nearly 1/2 hour useless hospital scene toward the end...or they could easily have just cut the damn kid out of the movie entirely and thus had plenty of room for these scenes. These scenes could have POSSIBLY saved the movie from completely failing...not the ones they kept. But again...these space scenes do look epic but it is a BIG "possibly" if the film would have been saved had they kept these scenes...the film was still extremely boring and listless. And routh...I don't know that guy just can't act.

Hmmmm...I take it back. The movie still would have failed horribly even WITH these scenes but damn at least it would have been a better and more interesting crap-film rather than the one we ended up getting.

@LP4....I think the MONGUL thing could have been part of the original story for Returns since they incorporated that WAR WORLD stuff into the SUPERMAN RETURNS game.

Great so the film went from being Superman going fist-to-fist with Mongul in space...to instead being Lex growing crystals in water and Superman not throwing a single punch?

The movie would be all right if there was no Superkid. Kinda seems like the kid was there only to put Superman into a worlds where everyone had moved on without him, that he was irrelevant, so the movie could show with his return why he is actually relevant. Don't need the kid for that. Wanna make him relevant to Lois's life? KILL HER. Have her be dead from the beginning of the movie. DC/Warmer's about to lose her to Superman's creators anyway.
