Marvels "Thor: The Dark World" continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvels "Thor" and "Marvels The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. So was the Avengers one which showed Tony to be present during the Helicarrier take-off and ended with Loki being arrested in Germany.

But still, anything new even if it turns out to be BS would be good.

Omarvls: Agree to disagree as Marvel (although a Fox movie) has already claimed the best CBM of the year with, The Wolverine. Question is, can Marvel Studios reclaim the CBM of the year title they have held since 2008.

It's probably nonsense but I'm starting to think that Malekith defeats Odin (at the cost of his face) and puts Asgard under siege.

That's why Thor asks Loki to help him "escape" Asgard in the clip they released.

But that's just a theory.

Malekith defeating Odin?? Don't think so.

How's that supposed to work unless they pull the whole "Odin is weak right now" thing again which would be a very poor reuse of a plot device from the first movie.

But otherwise Odin outmatches Malekith's powers a hundred times over.

This year's CBMs weren't very good. Watchable but not the best films ever. TDW looks pretty awesome so far and I hope that it will be the CBM of the year! I trust you Alan Taylor!!
