The dinobots have never been in a Transformers movie but is it possible they could be in the third movie?

Here's the info:

Empire Magazine will be featuring a piece on Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Director Michael Bay in its September 2009 issue.

Michael Bay was quoted in the post as saying this about the possible introduction of the Dinobots for Transformers 3:

"They've never been discussed [for inclusion]" stated Bay. "I don't like them. Actually, I hate them."

Could the director of the 10th most domestically grossing film in movie history be throwing us an early "misinformation" loop well before production of the third film begins?

So if this is true we most likely wont be seeing the dinobots in the 3rd movie.

I dont see why he wouldn't include them, they'd be great comic relief. People say their dinosaur modes make no sense but no one complained about ravage. Unless he's worried people will think he's taking the piss out of the mentally handicapped.

what many people including bay and many fans dont realize is that in the comics, the dinobots are a force to be reckoned with.
grimlock wasnt the comic relief, he was an awesome battle hardened commander.
he was not only powerful, he was arrogant and he could back it up. even megatron had immense difficulty in taking him down.
if bay did go for dinobots (cross your fingers!) i would hope that he used this incarnation.
and yes, in the comics, he had that speech impediment.
i wouldn't blame bay if he chose to nix that. hopefully he learned his mistakes from mudflap and skids.

Wadey09 is completely spot on. Their persona in the animated series was only accurate in the sense that they were not user friendly and not easily controlled. If they adjust the origins in the third installment for Unicron and Primus, the dinobots will have to be introduced in battle against Unicron. Then again, Bay does what wants with no regard to script, plot, or canon.

in the old cartoon, the dinobots weren't found under a mountain, the transformers MADE them from scratch.

they were in the animate movie so they HAVE been in a transformers movie.

i think they could be cool if done right. but sinces its bay they wont be. they will appear, call people pussy, fart, and probably get there ass kicked in a fight and have a crush on megan fox.

Don't be hard-ons. You don't need all of the Dinobots for this movie. Just a solo gig will do. Grimlock or 'Dinobot' from Beastwars would seem suitable. Drop the goofy caveman speak, add an updated body (Jurassic Park style T-Rex) and put him in one scene like they did for Devastator. That is the makings of a good battle. Hell, even bring Devastator back and have a huge Grimlock fight him. Have them both put out of commission from the fight. It would be pretty easy to include that in the movie. And it would take like two lines of dialouge to explain it.

DINOBOTS WOULD BE AWSOME TO SEE, HE SAYS HE DOESNT LIKE THEM BECAUSE I THINK HIS BRED AND BUTTER IS CAR CHASES AND REAL WORLD VEHICLES THAT HE CANN BLOW UP, NOW IN THE FIRST THEIR WAS SCORPINOCK THE SECOND THERE WAS RAVAGE, ANIMAL ROBOTS, THEY ALWAYS PLAYED A SEMI SMALL PART IN THE MOVIE OR AT LEAST LESSER ROBOT TO ROBOT BATTLES.SCORPINOCK WAS DOING ALL THE SHOOTING IN THE FIRST ONE AND RAVAGE WAS DOING SPYCRAP AND THROWING UP BB'S THAT TURNED INTO A BUGBOT IN THE SECOND ONE(HE GOT HIS SPINE RIPPED OUT)..ALL IN ALL...BAY HATES REVOLVING AROUND ANIMALS FOR TOO LONG.

i think it would be dumb to have them in there.

plus, he killed arcee off in like the first 2 minutes of rotf, and he hated her too. so even if he did put them in, there would be no justice done to them.

I really do hope Michael Bay puts the Dinobots in the 3rd movie, we haven't seen the Dinobots in the animated nor the 2 live action, I havent read up on the Dino bots in a while but would be surprised if Michael Bay changes his mind.

They wouldn't have to put all the Dinobots in the movie if they didn't want to. But having the Autobots trump card by the end of the movie be Grimlock would be fanboy-riffic. Of course, Bay's version of Grimlock would probably be the result of an Autobot scanning fossils, therefore he would transform into a skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus...with spikes jutting out of his spine...and rocket launchers attached to each tip...Sigh.

I hope Michael Bay puts the Dinobots in Transformers 3 and Aerialbots in the 3rd movie as well and also the Protectobots. Also Devastator was crap and should be like the cartoon version, plus Optimus Prime should have a trailor on the back of the truck like the cartoon version. Go Dinobots they Rule.
