No Pain No Gain For Michael Bay!

No Pain No Gain For Michael Bay!

Sounds like Paramount is pushing Michael Bay into getting the third installment of the Transformers franchise in front of audiences by the summer of 2011.

It was earlier reported that "Transformers 3" was to be released in July 2011, then this, straight up, from Michael Bay:

"Wait a minute! I said I was taking off a year from Transformers. Paramount made a mistake in dating "Transformers 3" - they asked me on the phone - I said yes to July 4 - but for 2012 - whoops! Not 2011!!! That would mean I would have to start prep in September. No way. My brain needs a break from fighting robots."

Over the space of time Michael Bay repeatedly said "Transformers 3" would be released in July of 2012 and that the acclaimed director wanted to film a low budget film called "Pain & Gain" in between the Transformers sequels.

This from Worstpreviews.com:

"Now on his own web site, Bay has revealed that he will be meeting with Steven Spielberg and writer Ehren Kruger later this week to discuss ideas for the third installment. By the end of the week he should know whether the new movie will appear during the summer of 2011 or 2012."

With this type of news I bet Michael Bay is screaming "This town (Hollywood)needs an ENEMA!!" If Paramount squeezes Michael Bay into delaying "Pain & Gain" then hopefully we only have to wait till 2011 and not 2012 to see what level of whoop ass Optimus Prime puts on Megatron.

Watchtower, your article is like it, as in, its about Transformers?? Thats all it has in common! This sis confirming something your article just mentions.

Grif, your article also just mentions the scene that Jmans discusses.

You guys need to join some type of club for whiners.

No mine said that he was meeting with spielberg and Kruger, just like this one. Except mine wasnt word for word like this one is

Mine said he wanted to do Pain or Gain before T3.

But it doesn't matter cause you guys are editors and can post what you want. I'm fine as long as the good news is posted.

Does your article have this quote from bay?? Which is whole crux of this article?? He just mentions the meeting with Kruger as back up. Anyway your article made the front page so whats the problem?

I know that wasn't in my article. I didn't say it was. But that quote is very old and i read it on this website along time ago.

I'm not saying there is a problem. i was just saying that i already posted it. Whenever something has already been posted it never makes the front page. This one had basically the same as mine.

@ Grif and Watchtower, you guys act like its the first time its happend :) Jman does it all the time, he waits for an article, then he copies it and changes a couple of things, then he sticks it in the main page.

If Michael Bay needs to take time off, then Paramount needs to respect his wishes. Even though Transformers may be Michael Bay's best work they should wait. Michael Bay needs to come up with a better story and script for the 3rd movie, if he's rushed then the movie will be crappy. I think it should come out in 2012.

They're going to rush the production of the 3rd one just like they did with the 2nd, and it will also suck monkey balls just like the 2nd.

They know they can put any kind of CRAP they want on the screen, and it will still make them tons of money.

Greed is killing movies...

Eh, literely too much in 2011. 2012 is fine, along side with Avengers. I swear, if we can't get Sam and company in space, I'm done with the franchise.
