Transformers Sequel Will See The Witwicky Parents!

Transformers Sequel Will See The Witwicky Parents!

Yep, you guessed it! We will be seeing the return of Sam's parents in Transformers 3! Shock!

This from IESB.net:

"The trades confirm deals are now in place for actors Kevin Dunn and Julie White to return as the parents of our non-robot lead in Transformers 3."

So get ready for more pot smoking, dog humping humor in the next installment. Maybe, just maybe they will tone it down a notch and the writers, instead on focusing on the jokes, can now focus on the story. Please spend time on the story for Transformers 3 Mr. Michael Bay.

I liked the first Transformer movie better then the second one but I'm still a sucker for 'Special Effects Extravaganza's. With that being said, I would like to see Michael Bay back the camera up a bit on a few of these action sequences. There is no need for the audience to only see a little bit of movement on two giant ass robots beating the hell out of each other. Backing the camera up will give the audience a more complete view and the shot wont feel rushed or crammed..

Other then that lets get it started!

Filming begins this summer with a July 1, 2011 release date on the horizon.

@ jman

they backed the camera up in a LOT of scenes in T2. the only problem is, most of the decepticons are all silver. so its hard to tell who is who. and for the autoots, most of the ones in T2 weren't even introduced, just there. so thats the problem.

you're right though, the first one was MUCH better.

come on man, the guy spelled it that way ONCE, all the other times, he spelled it right. i guess you've never made a simple spelling error??

it just felt crammed at some points, even in the first one. Good point CDB

@ jman

yeah, i don't like that all the decepticons are silver. with the autobots, at least you can say, "okay, this guy is red, that guy is yellow." but when they're all the same color, they all tend to look alike.
superdog
superdog - 4/8/2010, 7:57 AM
cdb@ you racist!!!!!!! they do not all look alike :)

as for the movie, they should get rid of the parents. sam is either gonna still be in college or out with a job. no need for parents anymore. they need to scale back on all the human characters and focus more on the robots, just like the cartoon. and why the hell cant they give him the spike nickname? how hard would that be.

The first one was on tv here the other night and it really is like watching a film made by 2 different directors. Its actually a very enjoyable movie. The silly humor is there but its totally toned down ands some of it is even funny at times! None of the actors are half as annoying as they were in the sequel either and the story flows. Bay must have taken stupid pills before production began on ROTF.

I completely agree about backing the camera up. However, it was Michael
Bay who added all the dumb mild humor. I highly doubt it was the writers (they are to take some of the blame for mudflap and skids but all that in between dog humping shite was MB). I'm a sucker or ROTF too just because of the FX. BuT I agree te story missed it. I do, however, like these parents in it

@ ror

its good to hear that more people liked the first. i agree, it was much better, and the jokes and things were actually kinda funny. i even liked the part where the autobots were hiding from Sam's parents around the house. it made the movie kinda fun, y'know?

Julie White's a talented comedic actress and Kevin Dunn did a good job in his brief role in "Lost". But these guys got the short end of the stick in the last "Transformers" film.

I do hope Ron Witwicky gets a bigger role to the point where he gets nicknmamed "Sparkplug".

Morgatron

Plus he shouldn't do 3d. Which he says he's not but paramount may think different. Some charactors didnt even need to be there. Like ratchet and sideswipe. They basically had no part in the movie. Which sucks bc I like them. Plus bolt the blue car didn't do anything at all. They just threw him willy nilly. If u watch it and not think about it and just watch it, rotf isn't that bad

I bet those ridiculous, cringe inducing "Twins" will return.Does anyone have kids, or know any small children?I find it very sad that all the ones I know thought they were hilarious. They thought it was the best part of the film.

ecksmanfan - 4/8/2010, 10:22 AM
Great, with the casting additon of Ken Jeong and these two, it's gonna be worse than ROTF!
SoulAllFlush
SoulAllFlush - 4/8/2010, 10:56 AM
Michael Bay is just awful

suffers from the same arrogance and misconcept as George Lucas. The JarJar Twins are almost the worst part of of ROTF.

InstigatorGIRL - 4/8/2010, 10:57 AM
lol. What? I liked the parents. lol. I hope they come back.
I agree with you though Ror. When you compare the two its like 2 different people did em.

Ick. Julie White is THE worst actress ever and I wanted to die seeing her in ROTF as well as the lame humor. This is the equivalent of Bat-Nipples. Somebody please get a director who respects the franchise and its fans.
McLovin
McLovin - 4/8/2010, 2:27 PM
THEHAWK - that was HILARIOUS!!!!

supermarioworldE - LOL, pretty clever bud ;-)

Shazam171 - LOL, that was funny, and yes it is THE SICKEST SHIT!!!!

p.s. InstigatorGIRL is still hot!!!!

the first film was awesome because it was mainly story. the second one was a nonstop action, explosive, cheesy comedy, and i hate non stop action. i like when the action does not seem forced.
THEHAWK

It is sad, the majority of the actors (except Fox) are talented actors, and that talent is wasted on these films.

I mean John Turturro is an Academy Award winning actor!

@ Morgatron thats like saying stale beer tastes alright if you dont think about it. Movies require thinking for you to connect and be emotionally involved.

Bay messed up period.

dancingmonkey08 - 4/9/2010, 6:32 AM
Damn right Rormachine, what happened to Bay in those 2 years?

And THEHAWK, I hope your dream comes true, I hope the parents blow up at the start of the movie along with any humping animals and Sam Whitwicky's stupid friend!
Phinehas
Phinehas - 4/9/2010, 6:49 AM
I knew what you were saying. I'm saying, for the right price, some people abandon scruples, ethics, and/or morality and whore themselves out for a paycheck. At the end of the day, they signed a contract. If they had stipulations to kind of material they were to present, they should have included such caveats.
