ARROWVERSE Crossover Will See The Return Of Tyler Hoechlin's SUPERMAN And The Debut Of Lois Lane

This year's Arrowverse crossoverwill introduce Ruby Rose's Batwoman, but it's now been announced that the three-night event will also see the return of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and the debut of Lois Lane.

“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse,” said Supergirl executive producers Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner. “This dogged, determined and brave reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and amazing addition to our universe of DC characters.”

Though Hoechlin was fairly well received as The Man of Steel, we haven't seen him since the season 2 finale of Supergirl, so it should be interesting to see how the character is reintroduced. Lois, meanwhile, has had several small screen incarnations over the years, but has never appeared in any of The CW's current DC shows - though she has been name-dropped a couple of times.

The Arrowverse crossover begins Sunday, Dec. 9 with The Flash at 8 p.m., then continues on Monday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. with Arrow, and concludes with Supergirl o
Tuesday the 11th at 8 p.m.

Lois Lane has a pretty good track record on TV castings. Teri and Erica both great.

I actually wouldn't mind the return of Erica Durance. She's just that good as Lois.

Excellent! Been eagerly awaiting Tyler's Superman to return. Best Superman weve had since Reeve.

Holy shit YES! I don't even have to watch it to know that Supes interacting with Flash and Arrow makes it automatically the best crossover yet.

I have my fair share of issues with the Arrowverse, especially Supergirl, like how they butchered characters like Mon-El and made a joke out of the Legion of Super-Heroes.

But Superman was on point.
Here's hoping they will do the same with Lois, it all starts with the casting!

@Doomsday8888 - I like Hoechlin, but they nerf him powerwise and in character to make Supergirl look good. It is her show though so...

Really hoping for more surprises like this. It's a worthy way of filling up the spot of our Legends.
