We first met Jack Gruber is the "Rogues' Gallery" episode of Fox's Gotham, and now the official Twitter account for the Fox TV series has confirmed that he will indeed be suiting up as the Electrocutioner in next week's instalment. The character is actually a minor DC villain that's tangled with the likes of Batman, Green Arrow and Black Canary, but his name was Lester Buchinsky in the comics. As you can see from the Tweet, we might just get a better look at him during tonight's Empire.

In an attempt to get his job back, Gordon seeks to capture Jack Gruber (guest star Christopher Heyerdahl), a deranged electrical genius who escapes Arkham Asylum. Meanwhile, Falcone struggles to hold onto his empire after Fish Mooney makes her next move in the all-new “What The Little Bird Told Him” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Jan. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GTH-112) (TV-14 L, V) Cast: Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney, Sean Pertwee as Alfred, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle/the future Catwoman, Zabryna Guevara as Captain Sarah Essen, Cory Michael Smith as Edward Nygma/the future Riddler, Victoria Cartagena as Renee Montoya, Andrew Stewart Jones as Crispus Allen, John Doman as Carmine Falcone Guest Cast: Morena Baccarin as Dr. Leslie Thompkins, Drew Powell as Butch Gilzean, David Zayas as Maroni, Christopher Heyerdahl as Jack Gruber, Anthony Carrigan as Victor Zsasz, Kevin McCormick as Danzig, Dash Mihok as Detective Arnold Flass, Peter Scolari as Commissioner Loeb, Adrian Martinez as Irwin, Caroline Lagerfelt as Mrs. Kean, Richard Poe as Mr. Kean, Victor Cruz as Desk Sergeant.

Gotham and the Flash share actors, now they are sharing costumes? Looks like he borrowed Heat Wave's goggles.

Im surprised people on here bash a show thats as good as Gotham. Sure, you know some characters will never die, but that sort of thing should be a given for anyone coming into this show in the 1st place. Its more about how things fell apart than how one hero brings everyone to justice. Gotham is great. Stop nitpicking at it, focus your time on shows that need help like Constantine, Agent Carter, and Agents of Shield

This is the type of character that makes sense to appear on this show, but I imagine it'll still be done cheesily bad.

Dear Gotham: Quit trying to make new villains to replace the ones that are canonically too young to exist yet. The Goat? The Balloonman?! Just stop.

Also, quit foreshadowing villains that we're never going to see on your show. "Ivy Pepper" isn't a thing. It's never going to be a thing. Just stop.

So please, just make a crime drama about the criminal underworld of Gotham vs. the corrupt police vs. other elements of the criminal underworld vs. Jim Gordon. That's the only bearable part of the show, and at times it's pretty damn good. Just focus on that.

@RetroFit

I agree, but I actually like Nygma. And some of young Bruce is fine. It's mostly Barbara/Montoya and the lame side villains like Balloonman that are hurting this show.

We already knew this but I'm looking forward to seeing what he does now that he's out of Arkham.

This is a little off topic, but since we know Hugo Strange is going to show up, I theorize that he will replace the late Gerry Lang as director at Arkham. Because of the whole prequel thing, I won't be surprised if Strange has a full head of hair, is in his twenties, and hasn't grown his beard yet. He will probably be connected to the Arkham City project in the show like he was in the game.

I gave up on Gotham. From what I'm seeing, I made the right choice.

I can't believe they are already bringing in another Batman villain...

They won't have any villains left for season 2.
